Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. I've been attending MCM Comic Con biannually for nearly 20 years now. It's strange they made you loop around, this was tried back in 2017 and failed miserably so they introduced that if you have a pass you can re-enter from the same point. They introduced last year instant bag check scanners last year. I must admit there was less there this year compared to last October. I would always recommend attending on a Friday or a Sunday. There is a Tesco just up the road too if you need cheap snacks.

I am very impressed with your crocheting. I didn't know you made your psyduck and magicarp hats. I thought you bought those at a store or card event. And the way you're making clothes as a beginner, fantastic job. My favorite clothing article is the Mesh Bolero. It looked great on you and it looks like it would go with anything. I'm glad you found another talent. Keep up the great work.

Saturday was blisteringly hot and overcrowded. The directions system is stupid too. If you go outside as a cosplayer/photographer you cannot go back inside through the doors on the plaza/square you have to go all around back through the security unlike previous Cons. Takes a good 15 minutes. But the people are nearly always great people and from all over the world too. They the organizers ask for feedback but never seem to listen. Photographers have asked for several years for a dedicated area or better internal lighting but nothing has changed.

We stopped going to MCM when some of the staff were abusive to disabled people, perved on women, and even allowed cosplayers and photographers known for sexual abuse/harassment of others, to just casually walk in rather than be banned. Hoping it's improved since then.

The struggle to collect all of Nabari No Ou is SO real! I’m missing a handful of volumes as well but if I could just find the last volume so that Yoite is looking back at Miharu on the spines I would basically feel complete 😭 it is SO hard to find though - maybe one day!🤞🏻So glad to see this series in at least some collections, it’s such a special series. Great collection! 🌸

MCM has had all these problems for 10 years now unfortunately, and it's only gotten worse since they were bought by ReedPop and they never change, or even address the problems because they still make bank every year and sell tickets no matter what. It's really disappointing
