Hey! This is considered historical re-enactment instead of bohurt :) it's seperate from HEMA and bohurt, and the combat is somewhat a minor part of it. Take care!

Hi, I have a question. How did you set up the camera and where did you place it?
@TwimeGoPro Жыл бұрын
I strapped it right on top of my helmet, it is quite in the open so it might take a beating especially if you get struck by a hard vertical axe blow I rigged mine with the default gopro straps, some people did more stealthy cameras on the side of the helmet, even under chainmail so it i less notoceable
@Samurai_q2 Жыл бұрын
@@TwimeGoPro Can the camera be hung around the neck under the chin? Will it be disturbing?
@TwimeGoPro Жыл бұрын
@@Samurai_q2 If you're using just a nasal helmet it could be done I suppose but 1. I've never seen such a rig and 2. Your neck will be unarmored if you want to keep the cam there Some people use only nasal helmets and not a coif so they are unarmored on the neck anyway, though I wouldn't recommend it A chest rig or a on-the-side-of-the-helmet type cam I would say are the most recommendable.

The guy is insane , kills in a row ! Would have the helicopter in call of duty in nearly a minite 😂 no but jokes aside , this was great to watch ! I hope to stand in the line in the comming years 👍🏻 the guy standing around with ptsd is shocking to look , how often does this happen? I knew from the researchs that you also can get kind of a claustrophopic shock while in full hema armors while fighting with less oxy in the closed helmets. Greetings from Switzerland guys !

I was always more concerned of stampede. Most injuries i encoutered within reenactment battles were stomps and being smothered under multiple enemies or fellows.

NO WONDER your so nasty at this. I’m here thinking for sure this guy trains parkour then I see the open gym video. I loved that safety vault cancel when you noticed the enemy saw you. I wish my field was multi leveled so I can be leaping off the 2nd floor or going into cat hangs. Most is dive roll over small pieces of cover and the occasional kong and safety vault to get over a car or table.
@TwimeGoPro2 жыл бұрын
I only do the fundamentals of parkour but it's enough to give me that extra freedom of movement (and maybe some speed) that allows for some creativity on the field, just gotta be careful with the safety aspect :) good to hear of other traceur-airsofters, I haven't bumped into anyone else yet!
@santi_super_stunts25732 жыл бұрын
How light of a load-out did you have in this video? That drop at 2:40 is quite hearty. With gear on I’d imagine it would be worse.
@TwimeGoPro2 жыл бұрын
I carry a light belt with a knife and two~ extra mags on it usually, a little lighter than a battle belt but sturdier than a regular one, quite close to a shooter belt. In this video less than 2kgs for sure. I prefer belts to vests usually and I leave the back open to be able to roll / get on my back, dropping isn't ever a problem with belts since it will always be light as you thought, up to max 5 kg.

Eastern style fighting is pretty much quite brutal,but it is controlled,more or less. You can see why many people use dane axes in eastern style line fights and duels,just aim for the top of the helmet...
