Hey did you feel like it was easy to transport everywhere? I’m going there soon and idk if I should book tours or just do the activities independently.

@@MonetteSola it was very easy to get around with the Swiss travel pass! I stayed in hotels close to the train stations and used Google maps to plan my routes the night before or on the go

@@MonetteSola the Swiss travel pass is for foreigners and can be used on almost any train, bus, ferries, and trams. There are special routes that require a different pass but honestly, every train ride I rode was beautiful so it didn’t feel like I was missing out on special views. It is on the expensive side but I planned out my route to make sure it was worth the pass. Was nice to not have to buy tickets each time

Congratulations! What a fabulous trip. Some of the things I liked:- you didn’t let the weather stop you; you ate on the go; you made the most of everyday; you were curious and adventurous; you showed that Swiss transport is excellent and safe; you enjoyed chocolate; you had fun in the snow; your trip was clearly well researched ( I learnt about Sigriswil Bridge); you have given me ideas for single room hotels; and you showed that the ability of solo travellers to make micro decisions (eg turn left or right) without consultation can lead to wonderful experiences. I wish it was like this back in 1985 when I had my first solo European adventure. Where will your next exploration take you?

Men travelling alone means mothing. Men are naturally capable then I suppose. This message is kind of misogynistic in it's extremely low expectations

I did this at 18 😂 and I was not ready. I finished all my money and call my mom from a supermarket, no battery on phone (people were nice to let me charge my phone), I lost my train and panick, no place to sleep: "Mom, I don't know what to do!!" Mom: "Stay there, I call to the house where we stayed as family and next morning I will come with money and we come home." I was a week to see the sea in the other part of the country. It was very scary, not fun at all, I am not adventuros, I don't like travel far. When I worked in Italy away from my country I barely let my room for groceries. I was very depresed and scared because I don't know the language at all and english not very well( 27 years old then) Now, I am 35 years old and enough with adventure alone 😂😂😂 So depends, I am a scared chicken, I'd stay home and read books instead. For me it's not fun traveling. 🤓📖

Great advice❤ buttttt I think it varies between people and depend on their personality. Personally, I associate travel with healing and vacations, and I heal better w my love ones & vacations are always more fun w lot of people😊.

it is great but it can be very dangerous so always make sure someone you know and trust knows where you are and when to expect you to contact them, and avoid giving strangers your details unnecessarily. be prepared for the worst, but hope for the best.
