You're right. Newer games on older drivers most of the times are not optimized. That being said, it can be the opposite for older games. Newer drivers can introduce microstutters and jittering in older games sometimes. The definitive truth however is that newer drivers are ALWAYS a better choice for security reasons.

It's not bottleneck. Even in the lowest settings, the CPU usage is around 70-80% in populated areas, which equals to 85-90% usage for each core with hyperthreading. That's reasonable for a 4 core CPU, and GPU utilization and power usage is also not showing any bottleneck. Idk what you are even on about.

@@Swoxie1 You look at GPU usage, if it's not maxed out then you are limited by the CPU.

its a downloadable mod that they put on , i dont really know how to do it so if you wanna know how u gotta search it up, and also if the fps is already low fg doesn't help with latency so 30 fps would still feel like 30 fps in terms of latency but would be smoother than just plain 30 fps in terms of how it looks . but if u have lets say 80 fps and fg can get that to maybe 110 fps to 120 fps and latency is pretty good

@@realfeils4655 It is not a downloadable mod. It's only available in the campaign client but that options effects the multiplayer as well.

@bananaboy482 i was talking about games in general that don't have it and since its open source people modded it. Didn't know it was from the game itself thanks for the info will check it out later. EDIT: after using it with fsr3 quality settings im getting 150 fps locked in zombies and around 80-95% gpu usage the visual loss isn't that much and not noticeable even tho im at 1080p and its feels great much better than 80-90 fps i was getting that sometimes went down to 50 fps and there isn't any noticeable input delay or anything im using i5 10400f and rx 5700xt thanks for the information i was getting frustrated with the performance of the game since it wasn't stable

My screen started to lsoe signal, which can only be fixed by restarting the whole computer. But then the same problem started occuring every 10-30 minutes. Reverted to an older driver solved the issue

The 1660 super runs hot. Undervolting it helps a lot

I personally use minimum + fsr 3.0 in order to achieve the most amount of frames possible. if not, balanced with fsr3.0 would be fine.
