Thanks! Loved this video! Now I'm gonna go find more on Zakar Academy! I love watching vids on adventure riding tips and tricks! I've gone from a Himalayan to KLR and now a Super T(Super Tenere only on pavement so far!) ❤

Best seat on the planet by far! I have countless 800-900 mile days on my Corbin. No but pain what so ever. When you first get it you might thinks it’s uncomfortable. But just like he said 10 hours later you don’t even notice it. I have tried about all aftermarket and HD seats. Corbin is the best by far!

How do you turn on the off road lights ? (all 4 beams). I can't figure it out and it is not in the instruction manuals

You better stay on the road. It takes years to master the sand.

Not true about the "Call" feature. With the Sena you have to wake it up like the Cardio. You have to say Sena call (Home) or dial number. But every time you want to give Sena a command you have to wake it up

Thanks for this video. So i was trying to do a map i downloaded to the HD app. I'm on a Pan America. So at the beginning i did notice the lower right corner of my display having next route info which was great. I must have not understood the direction vs the actual intersection and it took me to a main route which i was trying to avoid(i wanted gravel stuff). when i shut my bike off for gas i think i restarted to ride on my phone but obviously was far from the original starting point in the gpx file. but it didn't display directions in the lower right corner again. is there a certain order/sequence to insuring this displaying info?

Check your tire pressure and chain slack (if you have one) before heading out. Prepare for colder temps. I never leave home without my heated jacket liner. I don't mess with layer upon layer. This one item does the trick. Stretch out at every gas stop. Back, neck, shoulders, wrists, and legs. If your bike affords it, stand up while riding. Stretch the glutes. Use a crruise control or throttle lock. Give that throttle hand a break. Don't freak out about time constraints. Virtually any 1000 mile ride can be done well under 24 hours. Plan on extra miles. Your odometer rarely matches the mileage you mapped out. If your map says 1050 miles, do 1100. Don't sell yourself short. Plan your gas stops with a good buffer in case one of them is not open. If you were planning on stopping every 180 miles, maybe do 160, particularly in the wee hours. A gas station I have used many times at 2:00am, was not open the last time. I rode around trying to find another 24 hour station. As Jimmy said, take some ibrupofen. It helps. So too does 5 hour energy for a quick pic me up. Always do a walk around the bike at your gas stops. Unbeknownst to me, I blew a fork seal 700 miles into the ride. Fortunately no oil found its way onto the rotors and tire. Wiped it all down and was good to continued on my way. Enjoy the ride!

Back in 1998 August 27th to 28th, I did the Saddle Sore 1000 on a Suzuki DR 650. I had to stop every 110 miles for fuel. When stopped for fuel I would eat a half of a beanut butter & jelly sandwitch and a drink of bottled water. completed the ride in 20 hours and nine minutes, and covered 1068 miles. I think my average speed was 53 MPH. I had pleanty of extra time.

I just opened my app ((17MAR24) for the first time since last Fall, and for some reason, I don’t have a “”Ride It” button (I always did before), I only have “Send it to bike,” and “Edit” buttons. I deleted and reloaded the app with no change. Am I doing something wrong or did the app change?

That's "mastered" lol. But yeah no android auto on my 2023. If i play music on my phone it comes out of the phone. In fact, the bike actually starts playing sound from random video that only exist on my GoPro App. And the app isn't even running.

for short runs (<10mile) I do basic checks: make sure my tyres are up, my brakes engage, there's oil in the sump, and fuel in the tank. For long runs, I go that bit further, make sure my brake fluids are topped up, cables are ok, hoses are ok, nothing's leaking...

How can you review something you no nothing about. Put it in sport mode for max power. You don’t know what you are talking about. That Indian has more torque than a stage three Harley 114. you are really Harley biased.

If your not planning to stop and rest it will take about 18 hours, give or take. Next time I’ll go kickstand up no later than 4 am. I would prefer to do more night time riding in the morning while I’m fresh and shorten the time in the dark at the end of the ride when I’m fatigued.
