Berli, you want to experience hard time. I invite you to the contorted horseshoe.

Nobody plays like Django Reinhardt. Bireli's playing is less melodious than that of Django Reinhardt.

There are a lot of great guitarists on this planet, but Bireli really isn't of this planet. I think he is the most creative guitarist in history.

it is a creation of him inspired by many songs; including some metallica, beethoven, blues, also django reinhardt, also classical spanish style among other. he just plays with music.

I know there are about a hundred moments of brilliance in this clip, but I wanted to point out the part around 0:32. He played the arpeggio along with the harmony by himself! Never seen that before.

Just how far can they take the Django style? To me, I just think, well, I'm going to get flak for this, but, D.R. opened the door and so many guitarists followed thru. I listened to his playing for YEARS and never knew he had a crippled hand. I appreciate the fantastic mechanics of the younger musicians... I don't know what I'm trying to say. It gets lost in the translation

Everybody seems to have missed the fact that Mickey Vann should have never never gave Katsidis that standing count. If he didn’t give Katsidis (which allowed him to recover) I think Earl would have stopped him thus Earl would have won the fight.
