How to beat limited shiyu defence on s?? I have 2 squads (ellen anby soukaku , s11, neko, lucy) with 5 characters 50 lvl and each of them have lvl 30+ wengine and i barely beat it on a rank.

its either 1. skill issue (do alot of assist or maybe ur js not activating their buffs properly) 2. S11 neko n lucy isnt a a super great time switch neko with literally anyone n itll prolly be better (maybe same faction/element/support) 3. your drive disc are probably not good if u can barely a rank the first 3 shiyu defense i run a a similar team to u (ellen,soukaku,nicole yes ik i js like her ex) and (grace,anton,anby) i can s rank shiyu defense until 7 and a ranked 8 and 9 with all of them at lvl 40 im not trying to trash talk u or anything, i was struggling s ranking shiyu defense 7 but js had to optimise my w engines and anton drive disc

@@zaticzonicz1474 i dont think its build problem cause i look online for build. I have most of discs on lvl 6-9 exluding s11 and ellen (they have maxed ones) tho so maybe that the problem. I can switch neko with either nicole or anton but i have her wengine so i thought she would be op. And to be clear im talking about limited shiyu defense (red one) cause i cant belive lvl 40 characters can beat it

So I have a very similar problem with sd14 and I even have very similar teams to you, as in having ellen and s11 teams. I don’t know if it really helps but I think I am struggling with 3 main points: 1. team selection: to put simply, the enemy typing just counters us because you cannot use s11 on the first stage and are forced to use Ellen, which means you are basically fighting neutral typing in both fights instead of having and ice advantage in the second fight for example 2. skill issue: this applies 100% to me and I can’t judge your fights so you have to be your own judge here. I noticed from watching others that they rarely get hit and have quite optimized rotations but yeah maybe something like „don’t use chain attacks“ or other tips might help 3. lacking raw stats: I have seen others clear sd17 with lvl50 Ellen and some lower support and I was wondering why I was struggling, but I actually compared my stats to theirs and I saw where I was lacking. Both w-engine and discs make a huge difference. For example my Ellen had 40% crit rate and 80% crit damage while others had 60% and 140% respectively So I don’t know if I can clear sd14 unless I get lucky with discs

I think you may be right based on what I've been seeing. I've seen some pretty radical 10-pulls versus the standard 1-pull. I'm tempted not to do 1-pulls at all unless I'm very short on pulls.

I totally agree with you. Qing yi is going to amazing! Stunners are another version of support. Easily swapped around in teams making them more futureproof

Don't you just need to build 40% crit rate on her? 5% (base) + 35% (disks) + 30%(talent) + 15% (nichole) + 15% (engine passive) =100% crit rate. Then you just build crit dmg and use with nichole so you get the % def shred and the % dmg boost on enemies hit by her vortex and that's all you gotta do. PLEASE don't build your crit rate to 60+ you'll be wasting so many substat rolls that can be put into crit dmg only build above 40% if your not using nichole and/or don't have her sig engine

Coming back from the other video you made about pull strategies, did 70 pulls on Zhu Yuan banner (single pulls from 1-20 and 10 pulls from 21-70) and on my last 10 I got Koleda and Zhu Yuan!, I still have 50ish pulls left, but I'm not sure if I want to spend on her W-Engine or wait for Miyabi

To his strategy, you'd likely keep pulling even if you lose hard pity at 90 due to the potential to then gain more Residuals from the increased chance of upped A ranks you've likely already accumulated along the way. But I'm not sure you have even grasped how the pity system works. At 90, you'll get either the featured banner character or another non-featured S rank; you have a 50/50 chance of either option. Lose your 50/50 to a non-featured S rank, you are then guaranteed the featured S rank within the next 90 pulls (be it the currently featured S rank or the S rank on the subsequent featured banner). But, it really then is a subjective question. Do I want to potentially pull another 90 for the featured S rank I just lost my 50/50 on, or do I want to conserve my remaining pulls and save for the next featured S rank? If you have money to burn, likely you'll pull till the cows come home. But if you are F2P, get past 90, miss your fav, maybe it's a better economic strategy to retain what you have and then save up whatever is left to hit another 90 pulls. This would then allow you to guarantee the next featured S rank is yours.

@@OGBoomerHands All good. Btw, for the limited character banner, 90 is "hard pity", 80 "hard pity is for the engines banner. For the limited character banner, "soft pity" is around 75 pulls where the chances of pulling an S rank start to increase relative to the standard ~0.6% per individual pull. This increase is still miniscule, but starts to ramp up exponentially each pull you get closer to 90 pulls. You may get super lucky and hit the S rank in 50 or even 10 pulls, but this is statistically unlikely. A good economical strategy is to only push single pulls from around 70, so as to not do a 10 pull, hit your S rank, and then potentially waste a number of pulls on other B/A rank engines/characters contained within that 10 pull. You can also peruse the pull percentages and probabilities as well as your past pull history within the "Details" tab on the Signal splash screen. Good luck!

@@OGBoomerHands Yes. The 90 hard pity counter resets after you gain any S rank character. Same thing at 80 for the S rank engines. This also determines whether you have a separate guarantee for a featured S rank character/engine on your next one gained. For example, if you get Zhu Yuan at pull 51, your next S rank character (guaranteed within another 90 pulls) reverts back to a 50/50 chance of you getting her or another non-featured S rank. However, if you missed Zhu Yuan, the next S rank character you pull is guaranteed to be whatever featured S rank character is on the current banner. This guarantee carries over to new iterations of each banner, and the hard pity counts and featured S rank guarantees hold to their own banner types (engine and character, respectively). Hypothetically, after losing your 50/50 on a featured character banner, you could hold on to your S rank character guarantee indefinitely and wait for another character's banner down the road. So, you can know ahead of time if you are guaranteed your next S rank or are gambling with another 50/50 chance at the featured character. This assists with evaluating your options with your likely limited polychromes.

Seems like a pretty obvious strategy, but extremely long term and parsimonious for the average F2P player who likely just wants the S ranks they really care about rather than pouring all Polys and potential Residuals into each sequential limited banner to maximize future Residual generation.

You have brain damage if you still decided to go for grace's weapon 2 months later. It's better to just drop all that to build your pity. Eventually you will lose 75/25 to get her weapon duh.

@@setsuna7618Building/farming pity is never a good idea and one of the biggest traps you can recommend to other players. Just pull on the banner you are going for and try and make sure you have guarenteed. Because you never know if you DO win 50/50. Nothing sucks more than winning 50/50 on a character you don't really want because because you were building pity.. Also, you have brain damage if you think you can determine what the state of the game is going to be in 2 months time. You never know if the value of that W Engine will increase or decrease. For all we know her W Engine will be highly valuable for Grace in the future, we just don't know. I say anything really is a worthwhile investment because the game is just so fresh.
