Salut Jean, je tenais à te remercier pour la réalisation de ce clip. Pour moi il symbolise à la perfection l'âge d'or de Game One et de cette époque où je découvrais les jeux import. Tout a été dit de la plus belle des manières par Kroilia2, je me reconnais un peu dans son commentaire. Avec Shenmue, je trouve que c'est le clip le plus réussi. Donc encore une fois un grand merci à toi de m'avoir fait découvrir ce jeu et cette chanson. Prends soin de toi.

Peu importe combien j'ai pu jouer à Space Harrier, j'associe toujours la musique à Mémoire Vive d'abord. A l'époque une de mes émissions favorite de Game One !!

Je me demandais à l'instant qui montait tous ces clips sur le Game One de la grande époque... Et instantanément je trouve. Wow. Je peux rien ajouter à ce que d'autres ont déjà dit, merci pour celui là, ça représente tellement l'époque, ça rappelle l'odeur des catalogues de VHS où je bavais sur les box de Lodoss, arpenter les rares magasins spécialisés à la recherche d'une vieille cartouche.... Vraiment fou le concept des clips de Game One à l'époque, avec le recul, comme Level One ou Mémoire Vive puis Hall of Shame c'est fou ce que c'est précurseur de tout ce qu'on trouve sur internet maintenant.

This person makes this amazing animation with the perfect soundtrack and of course the YT assholes come out in full force and break balls about the architecture not being correct, the physical manifestations of the Red Death being wrong....so many experts on YT yet they're all watching instead of Doing

I watched this many years ago when I was just a teen, and I've always remembered it. Not all the scenes and details, but the overall aesthetic; and especially how Death's mask has those tears of blood, and how he keeps looking back as he runs… He doesn't look back like he's afraid, he looks back like he's beckoning him to follow, like he's taunting him…

Okay, jokes aside; Masque is the first piece by Poe I ever read when I was probably a little too young for him (3rd grade I think?) and it creeped me right the fuck out. This version is wonderful, and made me feel that creepiness I felt back then. And the Castlevania music pairs beautifully with it!

Je me rappelle ce clip, c'est lui qui m'avait donné envie d'acheter Lylat Wars comme premier jeu sur N64. Je pensais naïvement que la musique faisait partie du jeu également. Par contre, contrairement à vous j'avais nettement préféré la version 64, j'avais enfin l'impression de maîtriser mon arwing :) Merci pour l'upload en tout cas !

Hello, les rares fois ou j'ai voulu faire des clips façon gameone, je me suis dis que la video devait coller à la musique et pas l'inverse, est ce que c'etait aussi un peu votre idée dans la creation des clip à l'epoque? ou totalement l'inverse.

Les images sont ce qu'elles sont, le choix de la musique est libre, cela dépend de ce qui arrive en premier ;) Ici, j'avais cette formidable reprise du premier niveau de Star Fox, et une cassette de la version N64. J'étais stagiaire, a l'époque, je m'étais juste amusé.

@@Segasaturn95 Ah mais, une fois la musique choisie, bien sur que je monte tout cela en rythme, ecris une petite histoire avec les images... (la, c'est un genre de resume). J'aime bien ne pas mettre une coupure de montage sur un "coup" musical, mais caler un element de l'action pour qu'il arrive au bon moment, ce que tu mentionne par rapport au Boss.

@@opengetThanks. In the italian version he shouts the robot name (which for us is "Goldrake") whith the same energy and it still give me goose bumps. In the french one (and I asked because I'm going to comment a related video) he says almost calmly "métamorphose" 😂

This video was responsible to made me to fall in love with Valkyrie Profile back in 2000 when I've seen it on tv playing on Game One the other day. It made my 16 year old self mesmerized by it and think what is this beautiful anime and game? I need to get it. And not long after I've purchased a copy of it. Since that time I'm a fan of this series. :) The choice of music is beautiful, the editing masterfully done. This is so much better than most of any old and modern trailers of games. This is how video game trailers should be done. It's just captivating, like magic. If there is a heaven this is the official welcoming song for every new soul entering it. The music outlived the anime it was used for and just goes perfectly with VP, even if the Official Soundtrack is somewhat different in tone. But in reality they are so much alike: the theme of the song is about war and love, VP true ending and a lot of it's Einheriar plot is also about love during the time of Midgard's countries in war and also close to Ragnarök, which is the main plot. This song and the game goes so good together! Congrats for this timeless edit and Greetings from Hungary! I will be listening and watching to this 10 years later as well :)
