Because reviews are not enabled on the Boost Auto website: Installed M2 running boards with sequential turn signal and running lights on 08/17/24. Truck: MY24 Denali Ultimate 3500 Review Follows: Positives: 1. The packaging was very nice. 2. The M2 boards look very nice when fully installed. Negatives: 1. The driver and passenger side running board mounts make use of a L-Shaped bracket with threaded rod that inserts into the holes in the truck body (held in place by a square plastic retainer) then secures to the top of the brackets. In the case of 2020-2024 Chevy and GMC HD trucks, your truck may have 3 or 4 threaded holes available for mounting. The method that BA has chosen with the L-shaped bracket is not a well engineered design. The brackets could have been designed to accomodate 3 or 4 existing mounting holes without the need for the bracket which to me was a work-around. Deduct 1 for the poor design of the front brackets. 2. The wire harnesses are way too long. With a very well thought out and nearly invisible installation, I had about 2.5 feet of harness to wrap up, zip tie, and hide on the driver side and 3 to 4 feet of harness to wrap up, zip tie, and hide on the passenger side. The control box cable is ridiculous and would have strung out almost the length of half the truck. Although the harnesses are designed to fit several different trim levels of Silverado and Sierra HD trucks, none of them require harnesses this ridiculously long. Deduct 1 for the not well thought out harness length. 3. If you have smoked sidemarker lights and/or smoked mirror lights, the light strip on the M2 running boards are not smoked (could be an option) and as such are brighter than the other smoked lights that one may install in conjunction with the M2 lighted running boards resulting in a mismatch. Deduct 1 for not having a smoked option. 4. The front and rear brackets on both the driver and passenger sides work independently of each other. When the motor on the front brackets actuate the boards, the boards are to come down at the same rate front and back and parallel to the ground. In fact, the boards do this, but once deployed, if you step on the boards, they will come down ever so slightly (1/8 to 1/4 inch but noticeable) when weight is placed on them. If you look at the video for which this review is part of, you will see it actually occurs on the video so it is inherent to their design. I was meticulous in my installation, and so yes it is the design; this didn't occur with the factory automatic boards on my Denali Ultimate for which there was a steel rod between the front and rear brackets to ensure the brackets go down evenly and fully deploy. Deduct 1 for not deploying 100% (98% is not good enough for the price). 5. For MY24 Denali and Denali Ultimate HD owners with trucks that come factory equipped with automatic running boards (I am sure this applies to some of the Silverado HD trims as well), there is an option on the touch screen to deploy the running boards when the vehicle is in park (e.g. when washing the vehicle). This option is lost with the BA boards. I assume the MY20 through MY23 Sierra HD's with the pushbutton to deploy the running boards would lose this functionality as well. Deduct 1 for loss of a nice factory option that helps when cleaning your vehicle (e.g. at a carwash). 6. Missing lockwashers causing me to have to run to the hardware store to get them (black anodized and metric). Self explanatory and no they are not laying on my garage floor. Deduct 1 for quality control. 7. Entirely my personal opinion. Deduct 1 for the "Made in China" parts. It' s writren on the boxes and parts were likely sourced elsewhere as well. For the price they should be entirely designed, sourced, procured, manufactured, tested, boxed in their entirety in the U.S. Tips: 1. Remove your front fender liners to install the M2 boards. You will need to do this to tie up all the extra harness length. Don't use coat hangers and other techniques. Overall Rating 1 to 10 (with 10 being best): 7 I bought these with the EarlyM2 sale in which the running boards were 25% off with the pre-sale discount. The wait was no issue. If I would have paid full price my boards would have been about $2100 (plus tax). They ended up just over $1500 plus tax. Spending the better part of a day installing the M2 boards and seeing where they could have been improved upon, at full price, I would not buy these. At the 25% off price, I would maybe buy them. I am quite picky and would maybe flip a coin; heads yes, tails no.

I have power mirrors already and 1 of mine stop working. I want to replace and put these mirrors on both side. Is this a plug and play go if I order these with no extra hooking up wires. I mean it should just plug right in like my old and should work fine? Is that correct?

Attempted installation yesterday. I connected the harness exactly as in the video. Tried to plug in the connector from the door jam to the truck it would not click back into place. My windows are down, locks don't work. I have to take it to a shop on Monday morning to see if they can fix it hopefully not for a fortune. I should've just took it to the shop and had them do the installation as the video looks easy but I glitch in my truck.
