Yes do a video on starting a starter for sourdough, I would love that. So happy to see the farm stead sale is starting, best of luck to you. I bet you are so mad about loosing so many eggs, you need those eggs for your delicious breads. I have found a clutch or two in odd places like in the raspberry patch or under some rhubarb!😂 . When that happens to me I make the girls stay in the coop ( no free range) until late in the afternoon. This is to make them lay in the coop it then becomes a habit. As far as eating eggs I don’t think there is a great solution. Keep checking on them frequently and try putting a few golf balls on the boxes. When they peck at those they will regret it! Best of luck to you and your lovely family.

That's really good to know, we don't have kids yet but since we're planning to be pretty rural we've figured homeschool might have to be the way to go (plus basically every stat shows it's better than public school lol). I had no clue that there would be course work available at places like costco, I sorta figured it'd be one of those things you have to spend a ton on ordering online or printing yourself. Your garden is gorgeous! And attracting such biodiversity, even dinosaurs 😂

I want to suggest getting your family on a wholesome diet. You can definitely in in better health and give your family a longer, healthier life. I want to suggest doing a biblical diet. It doesn't matter if you believe the Bible. But what I am saying is cut out all GMO foods and animal products from non-gmo fed animals. Only buy non-gmo. Cut out all pork and all unclean foods. This isn't a sin matter, this is for health. And drink water. Don't drink any sugar, not even juice. Try that, if it is your will. Also, snacking between meals is not a great idea. If you can stick to meals alone without snacking in between that could help.

This is such a cool idea for something that a lot of people see as just a weed! I've always heard great things about how good they are for you, plus it's such a pretty colour. Not local to ND (though we may be inheriting some land near there and your channel has been a great resource for seeing how farm life is on the Prairie differs) otherwise we'd stop by for sure to buy some. Definitely feel you on the too many jars in the fridge equation too lol if guys can normalize beer fridges we should be allowed to have a fridge just for sourdough starters and canning projects. Side note and I'm sure you get this all the time but you have the prettiest eyes
