Yes, the HOLOSUN optics are waterproof! They have an IP67 rating, which means they are dustproof and protected against water ingress up to a depth of 1 meter for up to 30 minutes. This ensures that they will function reliably even under challenging conditions.

I bought it. Now, if it lasts as advertised, great. If its rigged to fail during a electric grid /EMP strike? Idk. Maybe. "Its from - China" 😊 Either way, its a great looking reticle. & at 6oz !? Its on the Spear... I hope it lives up to the claims...

Bought it a week ago for my pdp it looks amazing and was perfectly zeroed, didint had to adjust it, but sadly there is one major issue, its way to bright for indoor ranges.. is there anything i can do about that?

They are perfect concealed carry dots!! I have the scs mos and scs pdp!! The auto brightness works phenomenally well!! Just turn it on and never touch it !

It’s a great idea but the problem is that the overwrite makes the reticle brighter and unfortunately you can’t make it less bright…I wish it was a manual setup like the K and C optics

I have had the HE512T-GR going on a year now and I noticed the reticle blinks for a while and then stops when I take out the case to now and then. I hardly ever use my rifle, it just sits in the case on a shelf. So is something wrong with it or is that a sign that the battery needs changing?

The blinking and then turning off indicates that the battery is empty. Simply replace the inserted battery, and the HE512T will function as usual again.

Hey, it's because the GreenDots are significantly more efficient than RedDots. The power output of the solar unit is not sufficient to charge the battery with a RedDot.

Interesting to know! If the gun is mainly stored and just used in closed shooting ranges, will de solar unit be able to charge the battery sufficient?

@@colinjohnson1985 It will, it will be getting an energy source from the light at the range. You can go to the range once in a month and it’ll be charging

Hello, the screws do not need an update. The tightening torque is 1.7 Nm, as stated in our instruction manual. Exceeding this torque will reach the technical load limit. If you adhere to this limit, nothing will happen.

@@crambow If you exceed the mechanical load limit of the screws by over-tightening, every screw will break. We are not aware of any problems with the screws, at least not if the specifications are followed.

I like the fact HOLOSUN uses T-6 7075 Aluminum to manufacture their optics. I may just buy this now and I don't even own an optic ready pistol yet, I mean I"ll be buying just on principle alone.

Purchased this optic based on several good reviews. Had high expectations. The item arrived with Midway’s usual fast shipping. Unfortunately, the sight was dead on arrival. It would not power up. Yes, we tried a new battery. We read and tried all of the potential solutions from the various message boards and such. As a last resort, we tried Holosun customer service. In short, there is no customer service at Holosun. No replies - positive or negative. Nothing. With so many other good optics available at increasingly attractive prices, there is no need to put up with poor quality and even worse customer service. Spend your money with a company that supports and appreciates its customers - not Holosun

The AEMS has a larger field of view and more NV stages (an advantage when using NVG). Please note that the AENS CORE only has a larger field of view, we hope this helps.

1 MOA (Minute of Angle) is 1/60th of a degree. At a target distance of 100 m, adjusting by 1 MOA corresponds to a 2.9 cm adjustment. 1 MOA equals 1.047" at 100 yards (2.9 cm at 100 m).

Thank you for the message, we can't say why the 407CO has been discontinued. Please contact our colleagues in the USA directly. However, we can tell you some of the advantages of the new 507comp: larger selection of reticle options - faster finding of the dot due to larger target/viewing angle - faster target acquisition due to larger target/view - faster acquisition of secondary targets due to larger target/view And associated with this: - shorter split times between shots, because you can already recognize the follow-up targets and swing to them more quickly. These are very cool features, aren't they? :)

I just bought one of these brand new exactly one week ago and it seems the shake awake feature is not working properly. I have it on setting one and it will not shut off after 10 minutes like it's supposed to. It just stays on. I even tried removing the battery and putting it back in after a few minutes and it made no difference. I have to manually shut it completely off(pushing both buttons at same time) to get it to shut off and not waste the battery. Am I missing something here?
