I just this morning heard of this song from an August episode of The Avid Indoorsmen. I paused the podcast and came here to listen to what turned out to be one of the most beautiful and moving songs I've heard in my life. Beautiful voices singing awesome lyrics, making for a wonderful tune that just gave me the chills. I added it to both my video YT playlist and iTunes song lists. A heartfelt thanks to Rob and Beugs for making me aware of it and to everyone who had a hand in making this absolute treasure!

"Meant to go far, told to be still" & "They hunt for the thrill, but SHE is the evil one" really screams the question of "was she really?". It encapsulates in a broad sense how females were treated so differently then men throughout history. Not always being allowed to shine, just because of fear, ignorance or not fitting into the straight jacket of their community. Let us shine brighter through the fires that us and our ancesters went through❤

I had a black cat named Baby. She was my high school graduation present from my parents. Every night when we'd go to bed, she'd sleep between me and my body pillow then nestle down to suckle, knead and purr into the pillow. I knew she was taken from her mother too early and instead of discouraging her behavior, I decided to redirect her attention off my arm. I'd sing this to her as she did. Find myself still singing it sometimes when I miss her most. I started singing along with your video and found myself crying but suddenly managing not to warble and even wear a smile... As if I was singing to her again and making sure she didn't see my sorrow. I now feel just a little more peace in my heart. Thank you both. ❤
