Do you have a bike check video? What frame, front brake, bars and back wheel are you running?
@briantunney7 күн бұрын
I don’t have a bike check up but that frame was a Pedal Driven custom with Skapegoat bars and a profile z coaster laced to a chrome Revenge Industries sample rim.
@briantunney7 күн бұрын
And the front brake is a Suelo brake, Fly’s old flatland brand.

Watching you ride both brakes and brakeless Made me wonder Is there certain tricks you find easier without brakes Or are not needed for certain tricks

Anything hitchhiker/juggler related is way easier without brake levers in the way.

I’ve been watching your parts for years and always loved your style of riding I’ve tried bits of flatland here and there but damn it’s hard But I always like to ask this question What got you into flatland? Who were some of the people that you looked up to? You are definitely one of my all time favourites next to Simon O’brien
@briantunney8 ай бұрын
I got into flatland cause I was into skateboards and bought an early issue of Freestylin that had skateboarding in it. Then I thought the bikes were much cooler. From there, it was the right amount of hey, this is fun plus an overwhelming satisfaction whenever I learned something new. I don't learn as much new stuff as I did 20, 30 years ago, but that feeling is still there and that blows me away.

If you ever get out to ontario california you should hit up State Street wall ride. Blyther did an airwalk ad. There was the full pipes which are gone. Many of us locals hit the shit out of the wall ride that is under the Mountain Ave underpass between Holt and Mission blvd.. Imagine this bank and add about 6 more feet...

Great video. I lived in London, UK as a teenager and my dad lived in Playa Del Rey and he took me there in ‘84 and I met Andy J and Spike J. It was a great experience. You are so correct. All our dreams seemed to have been build at Wizard and those old pics are legendary. I moved to Huntington Beach in ‘89 and now live jn LA. Still ride an old Mongoose with Tuff wheels and still love it

I love these clips. Do more of those. I always had an affinity for the California lifestyle of freestyle pros of the late 80’s. I actually visited the original Haro warehouse when I was in Cardiff by the sea this past summer because of these videos. I tried to imagine the thousands of bikes going in and out of that office. I also visited an office building I found called Haro Designs. Thinking it was a retail spot I found Bob Haro in there just chilling. I guess I was a little star struck since I was completely caught off guard. But anyway these are great.
