Lance I am not a beekeeper but I've been watching b KZbin channels for about two or three years cuz my son-in-law wants to start beekeeping and I've never understood the development nobody's ever that I'm aware of gone close up like you have to show the different stages of development of the bees thank you very much I might suggest if you're going to do another video like this do it of the adult worker bees how is it by age that they change jobs or once they're born do they stay at that job for their whole life and how long do bees live thank you very much Great channel

"I am not a beekeeper." WE KNOW. You've been complaining nonstop that there are bees buzzing around you while you're filming a wild bee's nest being removed. What did you think, they were going to sit there politely and ignore you? I really hope you got a new cameraman after this.

Great video, Lance! You are very good at that! :)

Mine have stopped on the sub because our Bradford Pear and Red Maple are blooming. It sounds like a swarm in the trees there are so many bees on them. Thanks!

I had the same problem with the instant Vap but if you flip the entrance reducer upside down so that the opening is on the top, the tube of the instant Vap will go into the hive and stay there without having to hold it.

what material is that black base of the cones?

At the comb seens at 5:37, the queen mated one of its brothers. So the nurse bees removed the eggs somewhere. Than comb turned to a mosaic. Queen can mate 10-15 drones. If it mates with relative drones, nurse bees sense it from egg's smell. So producing queen by egg transfer from same comb is not so good for future of the bees. They will be relatives much at the end, there will be genetic illnesses

What an amazing VIDEO ! So clear, so sinchronized text clearly illustrated ... ...and just enough information to absorb at the time. Congratulations ! Thanks!!! PS. (* It reminds me on The BEST text Book in my medical study... (( many decades ago)) : Dale Dubin "Interpretation of ECG " That book that should be proclaimed A POSTER CHILD for any scientific book. Man !!! 1 page ussualy consists of some statement or concept and... it is accompanied with a clear ILUSTRATION of that electro physiological process. Next page exactly same pattern. ...and... ... on and on. Entire book is just like An.EXTREMLY clear ilustrated guide through electro fiziological actions of the human 💓 ...and How we detect those impulses on the skin surface with electrodes. In a few days you become an expert in reading those long ECG tapes. ) Thanks for good video presentation 👍👏👏👏👏.

What do they feed the larva that turns them into a Queen ?
@patrickmcauley151 Жыл бұрын
Royal jelly
@SRW1955 Жыл бұрын
@@patrickmcauley151 that’s what I thought.
@MrBeachbums510 ай бұрын
The only difference is that a worker bee is fed royal jelly for a few days, whereas the “queen-to-be” is fed royal jelly for a few days longer. Literally THAT is what turns a regular egg into a “queen-to-BEE.”

Sometimes the bees in the CBV box are drawn to that opening where the pan was removed, so I wrap that with cloth tree wrap and they then move a little quicker down into the bottom box :)
