Have you done a hydraulic brake bleed yet? My rear brakes are super soft and unresponsive.

Nice video, Looks a lot like my Philodo H8 that I just passed 14k miles with. The biggest difference seems to be yours is full suspension. My suspension seat post, works pretty good though : ) I could not get my stock derailer to work with the larger freewheel either, so I went back the other way since most of my riding is on the road anymore. The 11t freewheel really helps with ghost peddling.

Nice. I have the same ebike and have also made many mods and upgrades to it. I have 3 ebikes, one for high speed, one for cruising, and the smlro is my commuter and still one of my favorite rides. I put two 52v 30a batteries on it with a dual battery module, shunt modded both controllers and it cruises at 41mph no problem and gets about 70 miles of range. I love this ebike 👍

Cool! I just got mine today and just finished assembling it an hour ago. I could not get the rear fender on either. I had some scratch paint on the cross bar and my headlight does not work. I will deal with tomorrow. Took a quick test drive before it got dark and I was impressed with my short ride except for the brakes.

What's annoying is the fact that these reviews rarely tell you if the bike is a torque sensor or not , it's not always easy to Google it either,. I'm hunting for a ebike to buy.
@PSUWILDLIFER

This has a cadence sensor, not a torque sensor.
@EdPadin
@EdPadin 4 ай бұрын
It's a cadence sensor. On PA1 the bike will insist on going about 8MP regardless of how soft you pedal. PA2 is 15mph. Any speed over that is all you. I have not tried a torque sensor before but I think I would prefer it. Does anyone know how to change those speeds? You can adjust the wheel size on the controller settings but that will also make the odometer and speedometer reading inaccurate.

If you like this ebike check out the BoomBike Zeegr S1, I have this version and it is a ripper. Yes it has torque sensor and is a really nice bike. You will be able to go place you never did before.

I got the same bike from Amazon under a different name brand for $1500. I've seen it drop to almost $1400 lately. I'm pretty happy. The kickstand and phone holder broke but the Amazon vendor replaced it. I ride it at PA2 level with the front motor off and can get around 30 miles distance on mostly dirt trails. It can handle rough terrain well but I would not try to use bike as a downhill trail mountain bike. It's very heavy and not very nimble. It might fall apart with that kind of treatment. I will engage higher PA and the use front motor when I need quick acceleration to cross a busy road or to climb hills. I weigh 197 lbs. This bike can propel you to 35MPH before it cuts off the motor. I'm not sure if that can be unlocked but it's probably not a good idea to go any faster on this class of bike. EDIT: The one I have has a switch to turn off the front motor. When the front motor is on, it will work with all PA levels to provide a very torguey experience. When it's off it will save a mot of battery power..

Hi mate, can you set it up so PAS is on 0 or 1 and twist throttle on 5 - max, therefore allow for slow pedaling in the city and using throttle to accelerate when needed...cheers
@PSUWILDLIFER
@PSUWILDLIFER 9 ай бұрын
No, what ever the PAS is set to is what the throttle is set to. You can switch it to ‘throttle only” on the controller so it operate with no PAS but the throttle works at 5. If you set it up like that has no PAS.
@bwiser5206

@@PSUWILDLIFER it's a shame that the knuckleheads who make this bike and put all this "stuff" into the package couldn't replicate a pedal assist strategy that makes sense. The bike should have a switch that you can use throttle on 1 or both, and the throttle should always override the PAS. This is for safety. Example-if you are riding your e bike on PAS 2, and all of a sudden you see a car coming at you at excessive speed, you want to be able to tap the maximum power immediately via the throttle. It's clear this bike was made by people that don't really understand what real life use looks like, and these matters can be nothing short of life or death.
@noodles169
@noodles169 6 ай бұрын
Yes you can. Just go into the control settings and set it up how you want. You can download the manual. You can set each pas levels as sensitive as you want. You can also set up as many pas settings as you want. You can even switch off the throttle ect
