November 2024 and this song hits waaay different. I thank God for my grandmother who played songs like this. As a child/youngster, I didn't understand, but now....WHEW! LORD PLEASE HAVE MERCY UPON ME. I NEED YOU TO POUR OUR COMPASSION UPON ME.

This is his darkest most menacing song. This and "America Again" "Witch's Invitation" is dark but that was one over-the-top for kids. If the demons had been more realistic (which Carman couldn't do cause it would scare young ones) it would be on par.
