Good review. I have the Flex Riot as a grocery getter and love it. I put softer wheels and it rides smoother (Boa 90mm Hatchlings). It's fun, responsive and a great carver. Plus, being relatively light makes it easy to carry when running errands or commuting. It's also very enjoyable when I need a break from my big board. Shop around as many shops are discounting it to make room for newer inventory. I got mine for around $330 shipped.

After 3 years ridding the X3 here is my best recommendation: if you are really into hub motor (I am) for the same price as the X5, get the X3 and replace the front wheels with pneumatics you can find on Trampa Board website. You will get a total beast for the price.

Thoughts on "Linky 2.0: The World’s First Foldable Electric Longboard" currently on Kickstarter? (Google it) for around $1,000? Think this will be a good purchase? What do you think of specs/video ect? I like the foldable nature of it making it compact. On the fence to buy or not. This is their second release, they had 1.0 out like 4 years ago. The campaign ends in 3 days. Would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks!

Hey man. I just had to go back to comment. Don't ever get yourself an meepo. I've ordered mine in March and I've had only excuses and lies to me that it would be shipped eventually. And it never shipped. I've had to cancel it after 2.5 months. I've even paid extra for fast shipping. Terrible terrible Company. You've been warned!!

I have a v1 that I rode to all its limits to a fault. I've smashed my dome into the pavement more times than I want to admit. Yes I had a helmet but with scrapes and scars to prove. Meepos are awesome boards. I was looking at the new rounds. The 3s looks enticing.

@@Jpperera1 Definitely use footstraps. I've got some heel straps as well but haven't got around to fitting them yet (long story). I think the heel straps will add more control. I had issues with the battery case. Two of the hold down tabs ended up breaking off. Back and forth emails to Ecomobl (slow going) and they offered replacement case but I had to pay the freight. Because I reckon it's a design flaw I opted to design a strap tie down method of my own. Will do a video on this at a later date. If you want to hit top speeds tighten the springs down, and perhaps use the green springs (stronger). As far as any electrical or gear mods that's out of my league atm. If you want to see how it handles check out my channel to see my adventures so far. Ride safe but ride hard. : )

No mention of the OMW Cavalry? I'm one month into electric skateboarding and that's the board I ended up buying. I really like that it came with 7" pneumatic AT, 6" pneumatic street, and 97mm urethane tires/wheels, Anybody in the comments have any thoughts on it? Like I said this is my first board and have nothing to compare it to. To me it's awesome, And so far I have nothing negative to say about it. Except the first time on level 2 the torque caught me off guard. Haven't tried level 3 or 4. I think better protection gear is needed and will be ordering that soon. Pretty good video. I will share with my friend who is thinking of getting into the sport on more of an entry level setup

This would be great except it uses unconventional bushings so you pretty much have to get replacements from Seismic. It's also not cloudwheel compatible due to wheel bite so pretty limited on wheel options, especially the hub version. So pretty much limited to one supplier for bushings and wheels. The riot option does allow for a bit more wheel options but still not much due to the way the deck is designed, you will get wheel bite on anything bigger than 85-90mm. Still, the biggest issue for me is the bushings. I need to be able to put riptide bushings on all of my boards so sadly this board isn't an option even though it's so slim and would be a great short distance board.

@@triniboy2007 So I'm in the E.U and my Board was delivered within two days. They seem to have warehouses here. I can't speak for the U.S though although it would be weird for them not to have warehouses there too. As for customer service so far it's been great whenever I've had a question or wanted my shipping address changed. Whether they will be as great when it comes to warranty I have my doubts too
