Earlier, i was so confused that what i need to put in resume or what not but you have cleared my all the doubts with logical reasons. No, if an assesse choose for an pts scheme he is not liable to maintain books of accounts neither he is required to present books of accounts in case of scrutiny , further he needs to present supporting documents like turnover records, invoices details to substantiate only.

Tds and advance tax main difference - TDS is paid by the payer and not the person who is earning income in case of advance tax it is paid by assessee who is earning income
