Sorry to say but you turned me off trying this. Lock right at the beginning of your video. You make it sound like if I goof a little in my seam allowance I’ve messed up completely. Too serious. Nothing relaxing about your tone. It’s do this perfectly or else. Pretty block however.

Dear Karen, I am sure she didn't mean for it to sound rude. she is a teacher, and I know some blocks I have tried to make in the past if the measurement was off a bit, I would struggle getting them to fit right. I think Hun, she was just trying to explain accuracy is very important for your block to come out right. Be Blessed and have fun doing what works for you.

Love the pattern but wonder if anyone has a way to make the cuts without this special ruler? I don’t think I would use it very often in other projects
@FabricGardenCA Жыл бұрын
This pattern is written by the designer of the ruler so there is no simple way to cut it without the ruler. I am adding a link to a video for some other ideas on using this ruler. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qqmzd2Cba56Ae9Usi=SZnSbBMIH4HRGhyo

I had to laugh in the middle of the video when you said, "This is my third Tree Runner," because I'm on my 3rd set of trees right now (the first, thought I could just whip these trees out--and, they are cute, but a number of little errors adds up to an over-all not-so-precise *wonky trees!* ). These are darling in real life so one does tend to want 'near perfection in the *designed wonkiness.* Thus, I appreciate the careful attention you pay to the *tiny details* of measuring and cutting that, if applied to the creation of these trees, makes all the difference in how they turn out! Thank you!

You said after 15 min it needs to be reapplied. Does it leave any residue? Will it loose its adhesive properties on paper aswell? Looking for something that does not become permanent after a while not just repositionable for a short time. To me thats just slow drying.

Can you use the 505 Spray Adhesive on a mylar stencil to place on maple wood so it stays in place so I can spray paint the stencil and once I remove the stencil will it not leave adhesive on the wood. I tried a different spray adhesive and it left residue on the wood when I removed the stencil.
