I would love to try this recipe but am unable to find the amounts used for the flour, potato starch, mixed herbs, salt and garlic powder. Do you have the written recipe available?

I’m from Montserrat and I can remember my Grandmother used to make doucana all the time for the family and also share with friends. I am now 60 yrs and living in the UK. I really enjoyed your doucana video. The steps are simple and very easy to follow not too much ingredients, which brings out a beautiful colour to the doucana when they finish cooking. I am going to make your recipe using all the ingredients. Hope the colour comes out perfect like yours. Did your sweet potatoes had the yellow flesh? Please let me know. Great job.❤❤❤❤

I'm also a Bajan living in Toronto. Dropping in the batter using a spoon just like a traditional Bajan and also the way we were taught to do it in secondary school. BTW, I taught the egg was needed, otherwise the batter will fall apart.

This looks like over 300g of carbs in just one day. This is keeping your blood glucose levels high. This means your insulin levels will be high. This means that your PCOS symptoms will persist. If you keep your total carbohydrate intake below 20g/day, you will reverse the underlying causes of PCOS. You can see the vast majority of the symptoms gone in about one year. I am happy to explain more, answer questions, or address concerns.
@dishinwithkemm9 ай бұрын
I appreciate your concern, but the carb count in my diet is actually 113 grams (I track my daily intake). My goal is to stay around 100 grams, but I don't stress if I go over a bit. For example, the bagel I had was only 19 grams (it's a O’dough thin bagel), the lemon loaf was 7 grams (keto, sugar-free, and made with almond), and the veggie burger was 9 grams. These are the higher carb items I included. I used to be on a low carb diet before, and it actually made my PCOS worse. I ended up in the hospital a few times, and I didn't have enough energy to work out or be as active as I am now. Since making changes, I've been losing weight and my facial hair has reduced significantly (from twice a week to once every two weeks hair removal ). It's also not possible for me to have only 20 grams of carbs per day since I don't eat meat and I never will.

@@dishinwithkemm I respect your religion. I also will not judge you if you change your mind about eating meat in another ten years when the sarcopinia has set in. Peace and love. ✌🏼
