Interesting fork and design, especially the ability to tune the negative side of things, something most manufacturers have gone away from that I don't like. Little side note, know English is not your native language, so maybe check translation before committing to video, i.e. that's a CROWN, not a STEM, in the English speaking world at least.

So you named the fork after a hella shitty disaster that happend in the near past?
@ExtremeShoxАй бұрын
Hi! Short answer is YES. We know it may sound weird at first glance, but it should not be seen as a tribute to the environmental disaster, but as a way to not forget a tragic event, and to bring it to the attention of a public (that of MTB) that should be very sensitive to the problem of climate change. From our forests near us, to the rest of the world.

is it recommended to use the same inflation process (filling the ++ chamber first) with the era fork too?

My shock pump that came with the Aria exploded when filling the ++ chamber 🤬
@Frater_Maven Жыл бұрын
@OldSnake47 from what I've experienced, anytime you have a suspension component with two positive chambers, be it fork or shock; you always inflate the secondary additional positive chamber first. I had an Öhlins RXF36 EVO fork on my last bike, a 2017 Transition Patrol, and they recommended the same order of operations. Whenever I wanted to tune the spring rate I would fully deflate all chambers. Then attach my hose to the valve at the bottom of the right side fork lower. They recommend this for several reasons but from what I gather the most important reason is that if you and play the main positive chamber first you will lose some of the stroke and won't get the full amount of travel out of fork.

Hello, I have a storia v3 for 3 weeks and I had to send it to the local distributor because the top out was noticeable in such a way that it made a blow. I have it back, modified the rebound piston plates, it is not as noticeable as before but the top out is still noticeable. It's the first spring shock I've had and I have no idea if it's normal, until I find out or it's simply not valid for my SJ Evo 2022, 29" 150mm 210x55.

@RamsayMacFarlane Жыл бұрын
@@Pens4Life85 no CSU issues at all! Not a creak in earshot 🙌 I can honestly say I haven't heard of a single unhappy customer so can't explain the reduction in value other than it's a very niche product in a niche industry and therefore resale is fairly low due to being kinda specialist interest? The only complaint that I've heard is that they can't set it up properly, honestly. That does take a bit of fiddling to get it the way you want, but once done, it's easy to achieve again and is very tunable. I think the V2 upgrades fix the axle coming loose sometimes with a punch bolt but otherwise nothing negative about v1.

Very interesting. You guys could go OEM. If you have the guts to do it businesswise, you could seriously challenge Fox and RS by forging an aggressively priced fork / shock duo with slightly tuned down tech. I'd be very interested to see you aggro the big players. You've already got them beat on performance - now conquer the market
@fafinnn2 жыл бұрын
but it's small manufacture.If they produce that much of suspension, there could be sometimes things like in rs - no oil or grease in dust wipers. I mean, if they still keep this level, ther suspension would cost wayyy more due to expand of brand. and about oem. you can buy oem nicolai with ext ;)

check out the vorsprung suspension videos on stiffness (1 of the best suspension tuning engineers in the MTB market worldwide). Stiffness these days comes down to headtube > crown construction much more so than stanchion diameter. This is the only single crown fork with a reinforced structure in this critical area. It might very, very well be stiffer than the 38 and zebb in real life.
