Far from the most exciting watch but historically cool and decent sound that makes for a handy guide to speed correct the better audio sources for this show

CHINKY take oot,😂 am surprised the wokes haven’t bleeped that oot. I was in the garage at this house the year earlier with me dad who was friends with Brian, and got a couple of photos with him and his Harley. I was taller than him when I was 16 and he said “ jesus Harry(dad) he’s aalready taaller than me nd he’s ownly 16, he’s ganna be a big lad.” Sadly I’ve not seen him since and as my dad passed in 1990 there’s not been a connection anymore. I’d love to sit down with him for a beer and chat to catch up. We need the band to play SJP 🖤🤍

I saw them open for Iron Maiden in 1987. Before going to the concert, we were all like,”who the hell is WAYSTED?” That was the biggest surprise of an opening band. What a hidden gem of a band! We listened to Save Your Prayers all summer long! Thank you for posting this video

Wow! Big props to the guy recording this originally! I’ve talked to many,many guys who used to tape shows back in the day and they all said how hard it was to get a quality sound in a place like this. This is not only surprisingly good sound but also surprisingly even sound too! Well done!

Ive played guitars, accordions and pianos since I was a kid, and I've always found something intensely joyful about acoustic guitars and the lovely warm, rich sound they produce. Unplugged albums are fantastic, and I think ACDC would have phenomenal success with an unplugged album.

I'm impressed. Back in the day, a camcorder could not have been small and discreet. Kudos to you for getting something like that in and filming the show.
@spikesrock14 ай бұрын
I didn't film it, but I did buy it from the lad who did, who incidentally shot many shows at Sheffield City Hall and it always amazed me how he smuggled in a huge camcorder, sadly at the prices he was charging some of his videos never ever got shared.
