Gorgeous setup there brother. How do you like those Klipsch side surrounds? They look like a bipole design and something I've been eyeing for a while since they can fire sound to two rows, all in one speaker.

Dude, the thing I love about your AV setup, is you dont have a half dozen amps on your rack... You have a nice size room, & I know those Klipcsh speakers kick out serious sound. Which just shows that all those amps people have are just overkill. You really can have nice sound without all that. Kudos to you good Sir for your nice theater 🙏🏿

Hello, the theater was 60-70K at the time. The entire basement you can say around 200k CAD

Hi, I am using a x6700 Denon Amp which has 11 channels (7 speakers, 4 atmos) - I don't think I need a power amp. Unless I am doing something wrong? I was using a previous model x4700 and for that I needed a pre-amp to power the height atmos speaker.

@@raghibphotography You're not doing anything wrong. Your set up is fine, especially if it sounds great to you (& I'm sure it does). Alot of folks buy into the marketing narrative when it comes to this stuff.

I don't think anyone is really buying those. They are quite smaller and the price difference... you are better to get the ultimate luxury edition imo!

Hi, to be honest, no precautions are needed at all. I get so many updates .. maybe at least once a month on my Denon x6700 - you will be fine!

@manasil20092009 not at all!! If you are worried about that, then you should hook up a generator. That's an overkill, I know, but I have done so many updates in the past. Never thought about the power going out... I could be wrong but I have never heard of that

Great setup you have here, and excellent advice. I know about most of what you cover because I went through setting up my own home cinema a few years ago. It's a little more modest as I'm in the UK and most houses aren't that large + don't have basements. I have 5.1.4 with a 100" screen in what was once a garage, with KEF speakers (other than the sub) and an Epson projector. Only 4 seats, but it still feels like a cinema and people love coming over to watch things!

Hi there, Yes, that is 100% possible. but I suggest don't get a projector screen. Get an LED tv if you are into gaming :)

@kartiksaini5138 Yes that's why I was suggesting for having a LED for gaming. How many hours of gaming do you think you will use? It all depends what you like to do more..movie or game... if it's 50/50 then I suggest you get a LED tv and mount a rolling screen infront of it. Have both ?
