"No DFU capable USB device available" error on Linux: Not trying to be an smartass, but maybe this will help someone else! The procedure described by Kurt probably works for Windows (I assume it does, as I don't use Windows), but for Linux the description here and also the info on tinySA website didn't work for me. The dfu-util executed, but gave an error "No DFU capable USB device available". I then discovered that the dfu-util is now a standard package, at least for Debian and its' derivatives (e.g. Ubuntu). So I did a "sudo apt-get update" followed by "sudo apt-get -y install dfu-util" which downloaded the files from the official Linux repository. That worked for me and I was then able to load the latest firmware!

Thanks Kurt, Does it work to check transmitters/receivers wireless microphones, that work from 470,000 Mhz to 900,000 Mhz, with 50, 100 and 250 mW? thanks
@TheKurtPoulsen
@TheKurtPoulsen Жыл бұрын
Hi Jose. Yes but the power level is too high for a direct connection to TinySA ULTRA input. The connection to the wireless microphones output must fitted with a attenuator of 250mW equal to 24dBm 100mW to 20dBm and 50mW to 17dBm. the input level must always be below 0dBm and a good input level for measurement -20dBm so a 40dB attenuator can cover them all, If they are with analog modulation the TinySA ULTRA can be set to measure mW directly and take the attennuation into account //Kurt

Could you please upload a sample calibration and a testing video, how you export and effectively calibrate results differences between simple calibration and advance calculated calibration with additional cables etc? Also you claim that we can use the VNA as a spectrum analyzer but I havent seen any directions or explanation for it? Could you add more instructional videos???

I get "Error: No Sync!" when calibrating the load. It appears there is no way to contact SDR-Kits that I've found. The error does not appear on Short and Open calibration steps. Any ideas on how to make the error go away (I have tightened all connections and tried 5 times same result)

The help file (once installed on windows 10) has a hardware troubleshooting section - the problem appears to be due to my audio settings where restored back to 44.1Khz - those need to be set to 48Khz via Options->Setup->Audio Settings then select Auto Setup Audio devices button at the bottom of dialog

What I do not understand: If you have an intern measurement bridge that might have a measurement range from 1mOhm to 1 MOhm....Why do you have such different measurement results as shown in 17:58 minute in the Video? It should work fine from 0,1 Ohm to 100 kOhm,or not?
