Been strugglong for a very very very very long time with alignment and nobody helped. This is a full on breakthrough and I cant thank you enough. I was very skeptical when you linked a maths approsch with qualitatve but it works snd of course, it makes so much sense because when you say maths you mean a pattern. Since i have a very pattern focused mind I just cpuldnt bring it all together without that click. And this just opens up everything into clarity. Thank you thank you!!

Dr. Markette, does this TOC instruction applies for level 2 peer review submission? If not, could you please direct me to a resource wherein I could educate myself? My paper was rejected of a reviewer due to frontmatter with TOC, headings.. and styles. I really need help. Thank you.

I wish I would have found this BEFORE I wrote the first 30 pages of my Chapter 2 but now I can look back over and add - I did mine similar to Kayla (no outline) Do I need an outline for each chapter? will it really help the flow for writing?

Hi Dr Markette, another great research knowledge video that tremendously helped with acknowledging perspectives and considerations for a selecting a qualitative research method. My current interest is developing an virtual intergenerational service-learning study in efforts to combat ageism by undergraduate students to promote consideration of careers working with the rapidly growing older population. You gave a great example of the time consideration for a qualitative study and my topic may need to be refined in order to complete as suggested in the dissertation milestones. Developing the recommended effective components necessary for a service-learning study may be too time consuming. In your opinion, should consideration of another type of virtual service-learning connection for undergraduates and older people that can be completed efficiently and create effective educational collaborations but less time consuming for the participants in order to collect valid data on their experiences? Any feedback is appreciated!

As one of my learners renamed me: Dr. Pilcrow, I added that on my grave, Dr. Pilcrow will be added to Calvin Trillan's "The most remarkable thing about my mother is that for thirty years she served the family nothing but leftovers. Dr. Markette. Thank you. These short videos of how to get through the doctoral program are beneficial. The idea of developing a group from the first dissertation is a great idea and I will look into do just that. Not sure where I can fit in self-care but will keep trying.

Great explanation of the two types of studies and timing. Of course, costs always need to be considered, so knowing that quantitative could be a little less expensive that qualitative is good to know. Great short video, thankyou.
