Heather, I was…am so moved by this shared video. Thank you for allowing this momentary glimpse into you and your world…past and present. Your authenticity smacked me in the face…no guile, no posturing. That is an extremely attractive trait in this contrived world. Then, there is also your art which, though I had not been exposed to before, instantly spoke volumes to me with those come-hither colours dancing about without apologies! I am an 83 yr. old poet living out my final days in California. I write like I imagine you paint, free of pre-planned structure…it is so exhilarating as when not knowing the outcome completely keeps you totally present in the exact moment of each breath, each letter pouring forth from a pen with its own agenda…perhaps a pot of paint with its own needy will/direction! Isn’t it fun to be us! May your life be all that you need it to be…blessings

Even if people copy our process they can’t achieve the same results. But is is not a right thing to do. I am an artist too, from Porto, Portugal, and I think most important quality of an artist is being honest, in our work and in our choices, and this appears to other people ‘ s eyes. I loved the Artist, her honesty , her works and her studio!

AI has NOTHING to do with real ART which comes ONLY from the unknown to us human beings as a gift,. the expretion on a canvas as painters comes from our soul.....from the mistery of the unknown. (forget the AI !! )

Thank you for sharing! I found It's intriguing to consider how the evolving world and the experimentation of artists can lead to new and expanded outcomes. While the essence of art often feels rooted in the enigmatic depths of the unknown and the expression of our souls, it's also exciting to anticipate the possibilities that arise from pushing boundaries and exploring innovative techniques. Through this continuous exploration, artists may uncover fresh perspectives and create artworks that challenge our perceptions, opening doors to even more profound artistic experiences! Let’s see!⭐️

Abstract art is not art. It takes no skill at all. There is no color theory involved, no shapes, no design, the only thing your doing disgracing the medium your using to make it. I blow glass and do ceramics. That shit is hard. Learning what temp to fire your pottery at, learning how to control molten glass and mold it to your will, and even the act of blowing into the pipes itself is extremely hard. It takes enormous amounts of positive pressure to create the bubble. You just sling paint On a canvas with no real purpose or plan and call it art. The only reason it became popular is because the cia secretely funded it in the 70s and 80s to claim that American art is better than Soviet. Now it’s used to launder money by the wealthy.

Your perspective on abstract art and the skill involved in different artistic mediums is evident. While glass blowing and ceramics undeniably demand considerable skill and technical prowess, it's worth acknowledging that art, including abstract art, encompasses a broad spectrum of styles and techniques. Each form of expression presents its own set of complexities and challenges, and what may appear lacking in skill to one observer could be perceived as a unique and deeply meaningful form of self-expression by another. Moreover, the history and development of art are intricate and multifaceted, and while certain movements may have received support from diverse sources, I think it's important to avoid oversimplifying and dismissing entire genres based solely on their origins.

@@december.artfilms fair enough. I was quite drunk when I made that comment. I do find your art quite interesting mainly because it’s so much different from other abstract art that is just throwing paint at a canvas. I do apologize if I hurt your feelings. It was quite closed minded comment of mine I made on a drunken stooper. I do wish others would take a more unique approach to the form like you do. It reminds me of certain types of collage art where there isn’t really a certain subject your trying to capture more so just making a page look good by overlapping different kinds of paper. I do think that art is more about expression rather than meaning or functionality. It’s just kinda hard to keep that mindset all the time as my personal experiences in the past have made me biased. Tis the trials of maturing and learning. Hoping I have a more open minded and unbiased approach to my beliefs in the future. But it’s all a process of self improvement and growth. Keep doing what makes you happy!

I've been so conflicted about sharing my process throughout the years. I remember being in elementary school and sharing my process to the class only to feel as though it's lost it's value after. Now as an adult who's livelihood depends on my art, I HAVE been sharing my process and I find that it helps me think further outside the box when someone recreates my work. I'm still conflicted but I do see the positive aspects.
