As a northerner I find your remarks unprofessional at best! I am also a hunter and have dragged plenty of 150 pound deer out of the woods in the dead of winter!

If they are so invasive and Florida is a perfect environment for them, why are they even allowed? This guy obviously cant keep them properly, and he's breeding them

That is for sure a BIG HOG. But without a scale weight, I’m NOT CONVINCED it was even close to 400#. We have killed several 300# hogs that looked bigger than that. We also thought they were much heavier until we put them on the scale. They are very deceiving and always look like they weigh much more than they actually do.

There were some misleading statements in this video. All pigs (“Eurasian” or “feral” to use your fake terms), belong to genus species Sus Scrofa. You can erroneously call them by special names, but genetically, they are all still the same animal, pigs. There are different hog breeds have might have different coloration or body structure - in the same way that different breeds of dogs look different. But they can, and immediately will, freely breed together. Just like pit bull can breed with a poodle. A “Eurasian boar” will not “run off” a “feral”sow in heat. They will be makin’ bacon in a heartbeat. A male pig (called boars in the US) are solitary creatures. They will chase away sounders (herds of sows, shoats, and piglets) that are competing with him for food. Pigs eat anything and boars are pretty aggressive about defending their meals from other animals, including other pigs. But as soon as any sow in the sounder goes onto heat, the boar will join them and do the deed. Depending on where you hunt, the classic “Eurasian” Razorback trait can easily be seen in bodies of the feral hog population. This is living proof that all of these hogs constantly interbreed.

The only thing that was surprising to me was when you asked if he had a scale and he said no. I thought..."are you serious"; an operation that doesn't have a scale. I kinda wanna call B.S. on that one. That was a good hog but I'm thinking maybe in the 300's...maybe. But in your defense I wasn't there and all we have to go on is the video. But I will say this, hogs can fool you when it comes to guessing their weight.

450 is not huge. But could be ferocious if cornered. Biggest i have seen/ shot was when 3 USAF hunters near where the Nicene Creed ( I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, maker of...) was written while hunting in west Turkey. We shot 3 from a large herd. Towed up the snowy mountain by our snow cat, they were measured on our tiny bases meat scale. Female - 1200 lb, male - 1000 lb, juvenile or young male - 700 lb. Our scale was in kg and this numbers are rounded. Our good ol' boy mess sgts butchered , roasted them. We ate roast pig , chops, etc. for days. We set aside our beef/ lamb ration and invited Turk soldiers on next mountain over ( we helped them with radio repair). Showed the Burton/ Liz Taylor Cleopatra movie for the party. All pork on on table, beef on other for them. Were they happy- typical meal was bread, thin soupd and an occaisional piece of meat. $30 a week was all they got so free food was great. Btw, the typical boar was in 600 to 1300 lbs from what we saw. In US, seldom .ore than 800. Loved the video. Chief Karl
