Alex really tuned his snares low. There’s another guy on KZbin that showcased his auctioned Alex Van Halen snare and it like yours is also tuned on the lower side. Sounds great congratulations. 👍

No, this snare has a muffing circle sticker on the bottom of the top head.

Jesus,i am happy for you,but also so jealous.....To actually own one of AVH's rosewood TAMA snares is wow!, mind blowing.Wonder if the chrome wrap was to match his tour kit or fool the ludwig endorsee cops thinking it was a LM-402 supraphonic? whatever the reason that fawking snare is bad-ass.happy drumming.(play along to ill wait and see if it cuts through the mix in your headphones like a true alex snare should)

I saw Alex recently. Talked to him about the rosewood snares. He says you can't take them out of the country cause it's a protected wood. Don't try to leave the country with it. 😂

Hello! They toured Europe 3 times then did some solo projects. Marino (bass player) has a current project under the band name "Space Hooker". David (drummer) started a successful business, and Jay (singer) has a line of guitar effects. Thanks for your question!
