Are there ever any cases with a FHA loan that the loan has a variable interest rate or balloon payments? Also, have you seen FHA loans switch loan servicers soon after closing?

Jonesy Love yes there are FHA loan with variable interest rate but no FHA loan has a balloon payment. Depending on the institute originating your loan it may stay with one servicer without the life of the loan but no a days it very very rare. Hope that answers everything🙏🏾🙌🏾

Nakayla Lynn appreciate the love!🙌🏾🙏🏾 Using an FHA loan to get an owner occupied duplex is so smart. Have your tenets pay the mortgage and you’ll live mortgage free as long as its occupied. Just make sure you save enough money behind the down payment for any unexpected repairs that may come up. Love the mindset🙌🏾

What about if have numerous of lates on a high car payment. Credit score 640. But last 6 month have not been late on car. And have down payment and reserve money available and job at 24 years. For a 90k home loan ?

THEREALSHO-TIME23 Great question! There are many other factors that need to be considered to see if you could qualify. The most important factor is seeing how much you make on a monthly bases vs the amount of total debt your in will really decide where you stand. You have enough down payment funds, long employment history, & the qualifying credit score if it’s accurate. Just need to verify the Debt to Income ratio to see if you truly qualify. If your not able to qualify from a Debt to income ratio standpoint I recommend you refi your car into a lower payment. Hope this helps🙌🏾🙏🏾

Great info! I am trying to buy a home and was definitely considering FHA as the program I should go with but I curious as to what the difference between FHA and Conventional? Would the Conventional route save me more money?

Conventional allows 3% down if you're a first time buyer but will still require mortgage insurance until you have 22% equity in the home then it will drop off. FHA mortgage insurance stays on for the life of the loan unless you refinance it. So in reality conventional will save you money in the long run.

Ceron Lona Thanks, and MIP is Mortgage Insurance Premium its an additional fee paid by the borrower to protect us as lenders in case the borrower defaults on the loan. To avoid it you can put 20% down but in this housing market for most people that not very ideal ya know
