Hey! I am delighted to see that this video seems to get a lot of support! :D I am glad to see you guys all like it, and it is the least I can do to tribute the ones who greatly deserve it! But of course, the video is not flawless. (it is made by me lol, what ya expect) The most important one bein that Poland NEVER surrendered and this is a large mistake, which I have no excuses for. Nevertheless, I hope it is not too disrupting, glad you guys gave criticism too, and not just positive feedback! I hope you will all enjoy more vids to come! :D

General Maczek seen liberation of Europe not only as a military task, but also as a cultural one - because Nazi Germany were attempting to destroy european culture saving the people and the cultural legacy of our continent was something he firmly believed in. I will also add a thing which is missing in the video - his brigade in 1939 was the single undefeated brigade/division from the Polish Army. He only retreated and crossed the border because he was ordered to do so after the Soviets invaded. His brigade achieved one of several POL victories during the campaign reducing advance of 2. Panzer and 4. Leicht divisions to a crawl for first several days which saved Army "Kraków" from destruction untill the third week of the war. In Wilhemshaven his division not only accepted capitulation of the German garrison, but also reclaimed a military plaque taken as a trophy from Gdynia, Poland in September 1939. Quting the general about the capitulation: "A large hall. A long table, behind which was seated General Simonds, commander of the Canadian Corps, the Chief of Staff and divisional commanders. There were no other seats; the German officers would not be entitled to sit, and would be treated without ceremony. They entered. 6 German officers, led by General Erich von Straube, commander of the units between the Ems and Weser. They stood before the table, saluted and stood at attention. How different were these Germans from those we had taken prisoner in the heart of battle...
