I know this video is over 3 years old, but I just recently came across it. I always tell people that if they like the movies: The Grudge and or The Ring, that they should watch the original Japanese movies that they are remakes of. Ju-On is the Japanese movies that The Grudge is based on..great movie, though Ju-On 2 8s my favorite. Ringu is the Japanese movie that The Ring is a remake of, also a great movie. Alot of horror movies that came out in the early 2000s were actually American remakes of Japanese films. One Missed Call, Dark Water, and Pulse. The American remake of Pulse is awful when compared to the Japanese original.

Great pick ups! You're in for a treat with the Evil Dead movies. I highly recommend the original Carrie from 1976 if you haven't already seen it. Don't Breathe is excellent. Friday the 13th is my favourite franchise, would love to know what you think of them. Candyman is one of the best remakes I've seen, hope you enjoy it! The Demon is rather dull, unfortunately!
