Thanks for calling out the oil cleanser. I bought it a while ago thinking it would do the job for a double cleanse, annoying that it was so wrong! What are your thoughts on their blemish control cleanser? Is it likely to be too harsh like the SA cleanser?
@Doctor.nicolej20 күн бұрын
OMG I cannot believe I forgot the blemish control cleanser 😂😭 It’s actually worse than the SA cleanser. It contains 2% salicylic acid (more than SA cleanser) so if you use this everyday your skin barrier will be in trouble!

I’ve only ever done this with lipsticks. There was a time when it was really hard to find lipsticks that worked on dark skin tones l. whenever I found one, it would inevitably be discontinued and I’d be let wanting. So I developed this habit of always picking up a lipstick when I went shopping for makeup whether I needed it or not. Just in case it was discontinued because obviously I was going to rock this look for the rest of my life. Now I have a box full of lipsticks in similar shades of red and pink, around 50. Ironically I’ve totally gone off red lips I fact I’ve gone off lipsticks altogether.

Sometimes ppl will gift poor sods loads of gift sets. My friend was lucky/unlucky enough to receive a huge amount of toiletries over one Christmas. She donated a lot of hygiene products to those in need. It was just a coincidence, but she didn't end up buying many toiletries for 2 years.

Weleda happened to fall into my lap about 8 years ago or so... Back when it was still the metal tube... And I'd never found something so moisturizing and calming on my skin. I would even rub it on my lips and they would look and feel so soft. Since they changed over to plastic I'm not at in love with the product. No idea if there has been a formula change, it just feels different to me lol

@@dmoniquehumphrey7189 Sorry to hear that but well done for taking the time to heal your barrier. Yep it takes AGES! Are you using any barrier serums or just thick moisturisers?
@dmoniquehumphrey718925 күн бұрын
I switched to a gentle face wash, followed by hyaluronic acid, this moisturizer I found specifically to reduce inflammation on sensitive skin, and then just a Cetaphil sunscreen. Like you said, keep it simple. I'm finally seeing my skin barrier start to heal.
