Hey dude, I wanted to let you know that I really liked this video, keep doing what you're doing. Love your transitions, they really make your style unique and interesting. Know a guy that went to UCI, did comp sci stuff and then music I think and how he directs a music program at my friend's high school. He's the goat, used to go to Disneyland every day because he worked at a high school right near it

A former resident of Irvine and a USC student here: it was shocking to see this kind of decision.

Well, i saw the video where you're now a uc irvine student Personally, and im saying this as someone who would have loved to have transferred schools, i ended up at my 5th pick university of NJIT, just the money didnt fit. Ended up getting a bunch of opportunities, internships, research, clubs and things that I probably could have had from my top pick in drexel (I was going for game dev) but i already had all of that at NJIT to even consider any of the other schools i was in. Its as people say here (Speaking as an NJ resident) Going to NJIT vs Rutgers engineering or Stevens didnt change how companies looked at me when i was graduating or applying to internships 8 years ago And it wasnt like i was stopped from doing college events at drexel/NYU/Bloomfield college (now a part of montclair state university)/Rutgers (namely game jams, hackathons and networking events) However, as an additional caveat, you're the kinda guy to *fly* to UC Irvine to get accepted there for your transfer, so, for all I know, you might have it better at UCI But yeah, end of the day, the school you go to doesnt matter as much as the actual skills and experiences you learn and gain. Especially with the current college system and what people say about it, like i remember how great it was to have returning *permanent* staff come back to NJIT to restart its IT Game Dev program and where every year i was at njit after my freshman year, i was basically along for the ride of the whole new program because we had a permanent head... Then you have all of the underpaid adjuncts in, nowadays... Not saying they arent great (i got an internship from one my junior year, and a friend got one from another guy) but having office hours helps I mean, personally, if you're so willing to stake out why you have to go to UC Irvine, even if its to keep up with appearances, ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯ i mean, its up to you to keep up that same energy and to try ro get some of those same opportunities at UCI that you did at SJCU

Im so sorry this happened to you dude. Im a civil engineering student here at UCI and it's honestly kind of absurd they rescinded you for not taking those specific classes when I know so many transfer students in CEE who take lower div classes that they couldn't take at their cc's. Again, I am not super familiar with the transfer process, but it still felt odd to me. Glad u were able to get things resolved though!
