Hiya Philip Thanks for the video, your cartwheel penny is good nick 👍 Some interesting finds there and some nice detailed buttons 👍

Thank you for your comment. It`s only the second cartwheel penny I've found and the other one was found in the field next to this one, but that one was very toasted. The button came out in great nick but the other gold button was crusty. I'm grad you enjoyed my Vlog, please share it for me lol

Hiya. Another good video, with plenty of variety of finds. Those bloody musket balls give a brilliant signal ,you have to dig them 😂 Was that thing part of a dagger chape 🤔 Thanks for sharing Stay lucky Maria

Thanks Maria i do like digging musket balls but when you've dug as many as i have well need i say any more lol but the signals are good so you've got to dig them. as for the other find i don`t think it is a dagger chape but not sure yet what it is. Thanks for the comments, i try to answer them as quick as possible. Please keep watching my vlogs and leaving me comments they are much appreciated thank you.👍👍😁😁❤❤

Dutch ships used “gei” (which we now know as guy) as the name of the rope or wire they used to hold the mast or mainsail steady. Appropriately enough, it truly was a wire used as a guide. But the origin was from the French and Dutch, and their term for the tension wire they used to secure , but alot of people still call them guide ropes!

Hello, I just come across your video and I am growing toms as well. Red Cherry, Albenga, Oxheart Heirloom and San Marzano (first ever). I notice your leaves at top are like mine and they seem to be curling...is this a temperature issue?
@ThePhilpFamilyAdventures8 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment Agui007. Yes i think it might be a temperature issue as my greenhouse goes from +50c in the day to 5c at night. It could be not enough water or too much or a mineral issue. I know mines temperature problems. Thank you for commenting and i hope you've subscribed for future videos. The next greenhouse video is out tonight. 👍😁
@Agui0078 ай бұрын
@@ThePhilpFamilyAdventures Many thanks! Yes water and temperature seem to be key here. I also get slight mineral deficiencies so I have sprinkled a tiny amount of wood ash. 👌🏼

We love our octagon, sadly the quality got worse with this new version, but still no 1 for family camping. It’s 4 of us and we have plenty of room. We got extension for it as well for longer camping especially in bad weather, but barely ever use it. I guess it depends on what you’re taking with you.

A little tip for you next time you put it up where your door is tie two ribbons to the bottom two pegs loops. So next time you lay it out you look for the two red ribbons etc. And you know that is your door. Same for the fly 2 red ribbons, And when you roll a tent up always leave a few windows open or door open. Makes it easier to get the air out. And get compression straps. Dibt cost hardly anything. Put your knees into it and pull the straps.
@ThePhilpFamilyAdventures9 ай бұрын
Thanks @tugboat8475 i never thought of that, great idea 😁😁👍👍

The trick with getting it back in the bag is to fold the inner tent in 3 parts first Before rolling it up, and then squeeze the air out, especially the inner tent contains a lot of trapped air when folded up.

I am wondering to buy either this or octagon 8 blackout. my concern is that blackout can get super hot in the summer but on the other hand, getting woken up with the sunrise also doesn't sound great. is this tent getting super bright or does the walls actually cover from the sunlight a bit?
@ThePhilpFamilyAdventures10 ай бұрын
Hi @halasfil the Octagon 8 we used does let the light in but wasn't to bad, as for the blackout one i'm not sure but the side all open up to let the air in if that helps. Thank you for watching, please subscribe and share with friends.😁😁👍👍
