Robert Fleischman fits better than Perry on this song.

People badmouth, but I can't find a live version of this w/ SP. Not that he couldn't do it. People may be comparing a studio cut Perry w/a live Deen.

I dunno, I can't no matter how many times I try, get used to anybody except Steve singing Journey songs🤷♀️ Nobody compares IMO no offense to anyone of the other guys. Just doesn't float my boat. Woulda liked to go to that June Fest tho. Sounds amazing. Mahalo for uploading🤙=^..^=

This is one of my favorite Journey songs. It took a big fan playing drums to convince the band to play it I assume , because it's not the obvious set list song, is it? Deen is kicking a$$

Deen can flat out sing. When Mr. Augeri's voice gave out I wondered why they didn't hand him the mic and get Steve Smith on the drums

HOLY POOPBALLS! THANK YOU A MILLION FOR LOADING THIS PUPPY! SO SO SSO SO AMAZING. Charlie Allen Martin ("C'mon Charlie") told me this might be his favorite show he ever played with the band! You know of any other tracks from this? (i mean, this is the Whiskey show, right?? Paul Rodgers sang with them on a couple tracks because Free was in town. If I recall that story correctly. lol WOW)

Fleischman said this is his proudest song he wrote. I like him a lot just not with Journey. Steve owned this song. I'm willing to bet Fleischman would agree.

Those girls reactions before JC started singing was just too much. Jeez I realize he’s freakin JC Chasez and he’s talented, but he’s just a normal person like us. It’s like they think he’s God or something lol.

Journey messed up by not having him just record the next album. They were afraid that the fans would not buy the album knowing it was more mainstream sounding. But instead they ended up getting Steve Perry and recording and the album sold so well they didn't need the old fans. To make matters worse for Robert, he was asked to join the supergroup Asia, but declined because John Wetton's vocals were too good on the demos for him to think he could improve on them.
