Interesting thought. This video was intinally a personal video for a gentleman that was treating himself as a retirement present during covid when we weren't able to demonstrate the controls in person. I wanted to cover everything for him and the video has proved to be helpful for many others. How many cars you have you handed over to new owners?

@@ForecourtFilms I’m sure the gentleman is capable of working out how to unlock the doors and use the wipers, headlights and indicators. I’m sure appreciated being shown how to use the various optional extras the car has. I’ve personally handed over 100s of vehicles and have never needed to show anyone how an indicator stalk operates 😴

@@DoubleG79234 He was coming out of a small hatchback that didn't have lane change indicators. I've shown over 3000 people their new cars and tailor the handover based on the car they currently have or their experience. If you're so clued up, why are you even watching the video?

Got there in the end with the video. And I now know how to unlock it and turn the heater fan up. Win win. Keep up the good work 👌

Thanks, but you're wrong. Nothing has been added to the car, that is exactly as it left the factory. Different specifications for different parts of the world.

Auto trader UK is a good start or you could watch any one of the many videos on this channel of UK specification M Sport cars and see that is how they are supplied from new.

Uhm.....that car has nothing M Sport about it... Like front wing, rear wing, diffuser, side skirts, M sport produces 320hp thanks. Like.....that is base 435i

Second generation of Touareg came with the best engine, best gearbox, best suspension, best base (the same as Cayenne -> PL82 base, because Q7 was always on PL81 (1-st Touareg and Cayenne, not the best) and after that on MLB base). I saw a lot of Touareg's with more than 500 tkm on it and without any problems. The third generation of Touareg isn't the same quality as this one, only after 2021 they fixed all the main problems. 2-nd Touareg is still the best of all. Also proud owner of one of these, already 2 years. Incredible machine! 🙂

Good question. It's not actually a button. It is the interior temperature sensor 👍

That’s a 2017+ when they did the facelift. 2016 is the previous design.

We always publish the year it was registered so as not to be misleading. All new 2017 model year car (not facelift) but built and registered in 2016. So therefore it's a 2016 car. 👍

@@ForecourtFilms Yea I see everyone giving you a hard time about that. I believe it’s bc in the states we go by the year it was “intended” for, versus the year it was “manufactured”. Also I’m assuming any car from overseas is released earlier out there than over here, so really just a difference in realities. In the states we really only go by “The generation” not manufacturing date. Edit: You said “All new 2017 model year car (not facelift) how do you mean? Thats the face lifted version.

@@wavey_lit6046 You got it. So a 'facelift' is the update to the current model. BMW call it LCI but the generic term is facelift, usually where the front lights and grille are changed to bring it in line with the other models in the range. The A5/S5 'facelift' happened in 2012 for the previous model. This was an all new model of car so not a facelift. For instance with Porsche, the 991.2 was the facelift of the 991 and the 992 was the all new model of 911. Hope that makes sense 👍

The F15 is the best all rounder in the used market. Good value once original owners have eaten the depreciation. Reliability issues are overblown. Pro tips: swap out the run flats, replace a few platics bits under the hood, and flash tune it. Turns a very capable SUV into a sleeper.

I have the same model & colour and condition, 73K miles, better 19' optioned wheels and updated integrated modern stereo. Picked it up for $11,500 Aussie dollars. Not mag ride tho. some steering wheel controls.

I have the same car and spec but mine has mag ride suspension, 6 disc CD changer, multi function steering wheel and the previous owner spent over £2000 on the navigation plus system. Love it to bits
