Hi Sarah, you could have a look at DK Weight Socks by The Crazy Sock Lady, I have knit 1 pair but next pair I will go to a size 3mm. Oh also, you could place the cake on your scale and wind it in half that way.
@multifariousnature2 ай бұрын
Thank you Nancy for the suggestion! I printed a copy of The Crazy Sock Lady pattern and if my recipe doesn't work I will give her pattern a try! Or maybe the next pair I knit :-). Also, I may try that method of using my scale again.

Hi Sarah, if I remember correctly the edition 3 is a dk weight. All your goodies are so good! Did you get your sheep sheared yet? Just curious, I think you were going to do it yourself. Right? How did it go? Thanks
@multifariousnature3 ай бұрын
Hi Nancy! You are absolutely correct Edition 3 is dk :-). We will not be shearing until next spring. I am excited and nervous, I hope I don't make a complete mess of it! Their fleeces are coming in so beautifully. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend.

Hi Sarah, I'm very sorry for your loss. I'll pray for you and your husband; take care of each other! A little trick I've seen for knitting taat socks, is from Nancy Wheeler if Knit Sip Happy. Nancy has a video on her playlist showing how she pulls from the center and outside without having the yarn tangle or twist using a button.

Hi again! Thanks for your test knit update. Yes, I got my yarn and have cast on. I at the section to separate sleeves and body. I am soooo loving it. I'll post something to Ravelry soon (sorry, I don't use IG). Can one lookup the project by using the testing tag Taylor provided? If so, give it a go in a few days. I should have something there by then. (I'm new to using Projects in Ravelry so... yeah...) Anyway, love the color you have chosen for yours.

Your Half+Half is beautiful!!! Hope your injury heals smoothly!!! Yes, this weather in the Midwest is all over the place!! 60F one day, snow the next. Generally we're not out of frost-risk until mid-May which is when we start planting our annuals. I've spotted hyacinths and tulips peeking out of the mulch already - they typically don't come up until April??? Take care❤ ~Stephanie
