Congrats, you got the job well done🥳. Owning your home does bring up the expected. I'm glad you sorted the leak from the bathroom. I would just paint over the ceiling. With all the recent rain we have been experiencing, I have a wet patch on the wall in the corner of my dining room. Always some maintenance needed to upkeep a house. Are you a model or fashionista?Your Paris trip looked interesting 💜

Thank you! My first week went really well 🫶🏿. Yup, there’s always something happening 😅 I need to get used to that… Ah, sorry! Dulux stain blocker has been suggested in the comments. I think I’m going to buy some and paint on top. Paris was really fun, sad I couldn’t capture much! I’m not a model but I do enjoy fashion 😅

Congratulations on the new job. Once the ceiling has dried you may need to paint over the stain marks first with a stain blocker, just to prevent the marks from showing through when you re-paint.

@@jamaencole I've always found the Dulux one to be pretty good, it's no cheap but it does the job. Previously I'd just painted over with white paint, but you could still see the mark showing through (even after a couple of coats) but since using the stain blocker first, you'd never have known it was there. Good luck x

@@jamaencole100% wait a few weeks for it to dry out & use “ Zinsser B-I-N 1Ltr White Matt Stain Block Interior Multi Surface Primer”.. it’s not the cheapest but all the trade decorators use it for things like this, If any of the bits of paint are flaking or loose just sand them off before you use the stain blocker

Hi 😊, I found you based on your house tour and enjoy your calm manner and watching you do house stuff so I’ve subscribed today and hope to see a lot more of you. I recently retired and wanted to start swimming but couldn’t swim very well so have started lessons and love it. I’ve also got a guitar I have had for over 10 years but never learnt how to play…. Would be nice if I could motivate myself to learn… hopefully will within the next 10 years. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself xx

Congratulations on your first house 🎉the fire places are beautiful it will look amazing at Christmas if you still have to buy furniture sort the garden ect maybe have the stained carpet deep cleaned it will be cheaper than replacing it good luck it will be great to watch your journey with your house 🙂
