i dont know if its different in other countries, but where i live it quite literally just means a school that the government will not pay for, and we have to pay tuition. i believe its required to get an education in public school here so its free/doesnt cost much bc government will cover for it. but in private school government wont support it so we have around 2,000,000 yen tuition.

my first day of all girl private school went like this... -I figured out half the class parents worked there -LONG CLASSES! - All the school's cool features couldn't be used by the the middle schoolers and younger. The coolest thing was probably that we got to learn French have a chapel that we got to use a couple of times and we got to go in the pool once.

Some of these are just played up for the camera. Since when are airpods and glass wall classrooms a sign of luxury private school? Glass is a cheap material. Also Jeeps are not high end cars. And the girl wearing watch it obviously doesn't belong to her. It is way too big for her wrist and in the next clip she's not wearing it.
