Hi Dan, I'm happy to see you again on you tube! As you know I too am an AMSOIL Jobber, and I have personally met you several times, and even shares some advertising costs with you. Yes, I am getting old, now at 89 plus, but I am still believing in the AMSOIL products an selling them as well. Also like you, I have been in AMSOIL as a Dealer since 1981.

I hope this message finds you well. I’m reaching out to you because I’m considering switching to AMSOIL for the automatic transmission fluid (ATF) in my 2018 Mazda CX-9, which has about 75,000 miles on it. This is a high-mileage vehicle, and unfortunately, the ATF had never been changed until recently when I used MAZDA ATF oil for the first time. I’ve heard great things about AMSOIL products, and my primary goal is to ensure the longevity of my transmission, rather than focusing on fuel efficiency. Given the circumstances, I would appreciate your recommendation on which AMSOIL ATF product would be best suited for my vehicle to help extend the life of the gearbox.

Do an oil analysis on whatever you're testing. The product that results in the lowest wear over a normal oil change interval wins. Pressure testing is misleading because it only tests at one point in time. 🙂#XcelPlus

Maybe one advice from my side. Please make a video about oil changes intervals. For cars are listed in miles , is also important for users to understand that 10000 mies in city are not the same like highway. Diferent hours of working for the engine. People need to understand that oil is “done” after number of hours and miles are not quite relevant. Myself i change oil after maximum 200 h of usage and is a syntetic . Glad to see you back on internet🎉

In nearly 200,000 miles, my Ram Ecodiesel has never shown more than .5% contamination with 10k changes. Regens run about 650 mi.

When is Amsoil going to make a Euro 5w-40 that meets SP specs. Last analysis of your Euro is over 2,500 calcium, way to high for LSPI Turbos

My 94 ford ranger with the 2.3L (4 cylinder) uses this filter. I went large and use the EaO 26 filter for more filtering area and lower pressure loss. It’s longer than the 15.

I have a video idea for you. There are a few companies who make the add packages like Infineum, Afton, and Lubrizol. I was wondering if there was a difference between lets say Infineum's and Afton's Dexos gen 3 certified additive packages that then are blended with an adequate base oil. My thoughts have been that an engine can not read a brands label, and it only cares about the chemistry of the oil. Therefore, the only way to know if you have the right oil for your application is to first find the proper certification for your engine, and use oil testing to then find the best oil for your car. I'm sure you have some light to shine on this topic.

One issue I have is Amsoil won't tell me what base stock amsoil uses, specifically in the signature series. I understand they use "100% synthetic" labeling for all their products, even though it isn't group iv/v. Which is odd to me. I emailed Redline and they were quick to respond and rather transparent, which I appreciate. Switched from amsoil to redline ever since.

Amway oil. Its not even their own. They get it from EXXON MOBIL. They don't make their own additive packages either. Like Robocop - "good business is where you find it." Yeah. From the source. Mobil 1. Best bang for your buck (anti wear additive package) is probably Valvoline and Pennzoil's GTL Ultra Platinum synthetics. In fuel diluters like GDI and TGDI engines, all that expensive extra PAO in Amsoil's Signature is a waste. Those engines need a lot more oil changes because of the low tension piston rings and highly pressurized fuel getting past them into the crankcase.

Lubrizol introduced ZDDP in 1941. I actually don't know if world war 2 aircraft had it in their oil. Most motor oils up to that time were sulfurous, poorly refined oils with a lot of natural sulfur and esters that had lubricating properties. Gear oils from back then apparently contained lead soaps as the extreme pressure additive.
