The extra hat is based off of her original artwork which is also on the side of the box and the hat she is wearing in the box is replicated to look like the hat on her 1980 doll. As far as accessories, she has 2 more: A notebook (can be seen on the back of the box) and a plum purse.

Thank you for the thorough review! I love these dolls but the lack of legs is a dealbreaker for me. I do have 2 of the first wave that someone rebodied onto Barbie Made to Move bodies and I love them! I would love to find the caboodle style little purse and also the makeup case style one.

What a great, detailed video! You can't see the quality and intricacy in the stock photos. She not only looks like Rapunzel, but I love all the references to the movie with the sun drop flowers, etc. I'm so glad you're getting Mulan as well. I am curious about her, because her disney store designer dolls weren't that great (except the set with Li Shang). Ariel is gorgeous, but there are so many more of her, I totally agree. Can't wait to see your Mulan review. :)

I lover her OMG, the hair is the best part, like, i want her so i can remove the ponytail and let her hair down and boilwashed, it would be SO long. However, i hate the lack of articulation in the knees, for being a collector doll, that sucks. Also, if i remove the eyelashes, she would ended up having holes in her face?

Is it a barbie collector head size or the play line size?

Really wish that the tails were better articulated so that they can move and actually be able to sit. And it's such a shame that we never got any male Mermaze Mermaidz dolls! MGA should have used 'Gavin' from Moxie Teenz as template to work from! He was literally the 1st male doll that MGA created that had inset eyes, not River Kendall! Or they could've made a cute Surfer guy similar to 'Jake' from Liv (who also has inset eyes, but with really nice articulation).

Where can i get this in US?

I got mine about a month ago! A friend shipped them to me from the uk! They are so beautiful irl and I think if this had been the first mermaze line, I think they would’ve done better! (And maybe if the dolls were at least $10 cheaper) I personally love that they are strictly “mermaid” dolls ! I do wish they had a knee joint instead of the fin joint, but I don’t necessarily mind it. Kinda makes them feel more like a fashion doll that they can only stand. Also, Monroe is definitely my favorite! 💜🎀

Would LOVEEEEE an actual Barbie competitor from MGA. Dream Ella was supposed to but ended up more like a Color Reveal alternative...the ANTM dolls are so underrated, I always forget about them! There was a winter or shopping wave that was scrapped, would've loved them as well😔

I'm not sure why they released this one compared to the more popular lines. I never liked the faces of Slumber Party so I never bought them as a kid. I can appreciate the quality but they just were never a line that I went crazy for. I loved the ICandyz girls and Princess line which I was never able to get.
