Wow, um, ok. This is popping off. Thank you algorithm, and everyone who watched and supported this video! As suggested by @/bruvance, I'm gonna lay out some proper rules for anyone looking to try this challenge for themselves! Use the hashtag #FirstNightInYourFirstNight if you make a video of it! It's gonna be a points system rather than time based 1. You have 20 minutes to build the main house and pen, which gets you 20 points 2. -1 point for every substitution you make. eg using dirt instead of grass, a different kind of wood, just placing a sapling, etc. You don't lose a point for each induvidual block, just generally what you did 3. Fully leaving something out, like I did with the item frame, is -2 points 4. For every minute less than 20 you take, you get +2 points. So an 18 minute time would get you +4 points 5. The original set also has some grass, dirt, and flowers surrounding the house, +3 points for including that 6. +3 points for luring a creeper over at the end 7. Changing your skin to Steve won't earn you points, but respect if you do If you take 20 minutes, the highest possible score is 26, but it's even more if you're fast. My score was 14, can you beat it?!

This is a brilliant Idea! I would change the proportions of the minecraft build, as it isnt as tall in lego form. (Like 4 blocks tall). 5 plates in lego equals 1 block height.

Make this a "real" speedrun by making a list of requirement. Instead of being graded on speed, it would be graded on accuracy in a 20 minute period. so each block could be worth 2 points, 1 if you place something similar (like dirt instead of grass, or sand instead of sandstone), and each accessory like the flower, tree, bed, item frame, and pig could be bonus points.
