aactually, you can't just assume convergence interval without testing the endpoints, yes you can assume the radius by just checking half of the interval, but if you see carefully x=0 diverges by harmonic series, but x=2 converges by alternating test. Thus interval is 0>x>=2.

One thing I realized is that finding the probability for 2 rvs is equivalent to finding the volume under a 2d surface (in the uniform case a flat rectage). For example for both romeo and juliet 30 mins late, first we find the area of romeo (0.5* 1) and the multiply this over juilets space (0.5*1*0.5) = 0.25, this is equivalent to doing the double integral, and u can visualize is as rectagular volume with quater of the total probability. If confused, look at the 1 rv variable case where we find the area under a curve, and come back to this.
