NPCs tend to be around for storylines. That could be anywhere from a single quest to several zones of content. The NPCs in this video are making their last appearances as I am finishing up the storyline for this area.

I was wracking my brain why I couldn't advance this quest. It's because I'm on the new legendary server, Angmar. Skirmishes are not available until Moria comes out. I swore I got a letter at 20th to say go to a skirmish captain but I was to occupied with crafting at the time.

There's this potion you can get that'll give you the trial omen effect where mobs from spawners become tougher and other things happen and it really reminds me of the delvings from LOTRO, just like how pillager raids remind me of defense skirmishes in LOTRO.

Yes, they can be annoying. I wonder how far I will get before my curiosity is satiisfied and I decided to stick with the old servers. As for breaking immersion, I still think that the Eye of Sauron is worse (which is why I never play a character on a difficulty setting greater than two).

I might do the bounties if I remember them, but my traack record on such things is rather poor. The non-repeatable quests you list are intended for groups, so I'm even less lilely to do those since this is a solo series.

Another fun zone to explore and quest in. I like the intersection of Arnorian ruins and Dunlending settlements. And that Nona's a firecracker once she shows up!
