What happens when you stretch the regular tension spring out alittle yourself? Any problems ?

@@westup2446 This is a very old vid but I believe they sent a spring with the mag. But as a range mag I wouldn’t see a problem. I’ve done that before with the plus 2 mag extensions on my 26 with a stock spring and never had issues. Long as the last few rounds still have some tension under them. I probably wouldn’t use it as a main mag for self defense though.

I’m a very proud owner of one of these very fine weapons. I took it to an indoor range the first time I fired it and I was so impressed with the accuracy of it. I was issued the Beretta 9mm in the Marine Corps. Nice weapon also. My FNS 9C is my new baby!!!!!!!

These kind of knives don’t really lose too much value. If it’s in new condition you should still be able to sell them for around what you bought them for. Also depends if they are out of stock in most shops… can possibly get more for them.

Great review. I bought this knife, in the survival kit version, recently (before seeing this review). It is really a beautiful and fantastic quality knife. Highly recommended.

Years after your video, I'm here wondering if I should get the 7k, or the 4kxl. EDC/utility, with the possibility of doubling as a self defense option, if need be. What would you suggest?

I prefer the 7K definitely more for edc. I still carry it! The 4XL I don’t carry as often, very cool blade but better in my opinion for self defense/camping etc. Hope this helped.

Don’t get me wrong. You can most certainly use the 7K as a self defense blade if need be. Still plenty of blade to get the job done. Plus the blade shape is one of my favorites. Love the tanto. Thing is, I'm a rather small guy (5'8 and around 146lbs now that I can't workout) and I'm worried a big blade like the 4kxl, or the CRKT M16-04KS, which I was looking at recently, could be uncomfortable (and too visible) If you say the 7k is ok for what I need, I'll definitely get it! Knives cost a lot more here in Italy than in the US, but I might have just found a great deal, so I'm practically forced to buy it hahaha

Right on Brother! I have a WINKLER belt knife , and 2 TOOR fixed blades. A Darter in Ranger Green w/g10 scales in CPM3V , and a Field2.0 CPM154 battleship grey with walnut handles and dynamic fluting with copper liners my one knife I do not use much is my USMC KA-BAR that I purchased in 1987 !! I do not own a folder . Have a great day

What spring combo did you end up with to get a 4-5lb trigger pull? Looking to add this Apex kit to an M&P compact pistol but prefer a 4-4.5lb crisp trigger vs 3lb. Thanks for the video.

Honestly instead of adding I’ve upgraded.. swapped a few out for some “higher” quality ones. Went quality over quantity. No use for 10 fixed blades, as I’d rather have 3-4 very good ones. Appreciate you tuning in bud.

When I get back to work, I'm gonna send you a stag Rhino, and you can use one of the two kydex sheaths you already have when you carry it. It does me good to see someone so passionate about a knife. It is a sweet blade.
