One thing this song reminds me of is, when i was 8-9 years of age their was a family on my street and the parents were addicted to herion, they got so addicted to herion they stopped buying food and when their kids complained about being hungry they'd throw them out of the house and on to the street they didn't care if was during day or night, even in the early morning, so my parents and 3 other families took these kids in feed them and give them some where to sleep i remember having these "sleep overs" with my friends all of the time, eventually their parents wouldn't let them into the house at all so my parents and the other families had a rotation system for these kids, while child service's were trying to find a place for them Looking back at this now as an adult i'm proud of my parents and the other familes too, but i'm also disgusted at their parents for doing this to their owe kids

Truth. I watched it rock so many people right out of their heads. Then it tapered off and it became very taboo even amongst the “wilder types” I associated with. I’d made it even though I foolishly didn’t help things and even tried it a few times until it scared the crap out of me and I said never again. Then came opioids.. pills lots of pills everywhere.. No one thought bad of you taking a pain pill and might take one themselves even. And what do you know? I loved them and I mean I really feel fast and fully in love. I have to say I helped spread the opioid crisis in my part of the world and soon meth was only used in the darkest shadows again and wow it was obvious when one was on it now more than ever because it was much stronger than the shit during the “meth mountain” years 99-2004. Now it was ice and made anyone on it look insanely geeked instantly no matter how they tried. So it faded more and opioid pills and H among certain groups that had access took over Northeast Alabama and everywhere else it seems. Fentanyl was slipping in just as I got tuff enough and in the right program to finally quit Nov 24 2020 (I realize other communities had already been affected by fentanyl by then but we are always behind) and got out just in time or I’m sure I’d be dead or have been close by now. You buy a pill that’s identical in every way visually to a Roxy and snort it like normal but you’re dead before dropping the straw.

Relapsed a couple days ago. I’ve been able to sleep since, but my mouth is fucked rn cause of the bruxism. I never had an overall good experience with meth.. that’s still a reality. I’m grateful I never got too involved but it’s still a horrific drug.. I’d rather smoke some herb and take some mushroom caps..
