Hi, I'm here but took break. I have a lot of unreleased runs and this is one of them. Someone on speedrun.com made a comment about this track so this upload was a reply to it. Tonight I will be attempting some NASCAR 07 runs so I've been active, just not uploading. The postproduction part is what was burning me out, the editing, all of the work after the actual game play. It would be convenient to only focus on driving and have someone else who can edit the runs and upload them but I am a one man team and with this style of recording sometimes there are problems to solve that slowdown the workflow and make it feel like a chore. Hopefully I am back on schedule soon and I wish you the best as always 🏁

@@roosetheroader Hey Roose, yeah, I know what you mean, it can add hours of extra input. I try to keep it as simple as possible, I use a small free program called LosslessCut on Windows, it just cuts out the exact piece of footage without any extra processing, then I just upload that. I have thought about adding extra text or voice over to videos in the past, but in the end I am really all about the records, and that's enough for me. I enjoy watching your videos the way they are as well, the entertainment is the quality of your driving. 😎

That is just how it was programmed I assume. I didn't notice how fast the clock runs until I uploaded this video and wondered why a race over 3 minutes plus the beginning and end all fit into a video less than 3 minutes.

Thanks for uploading it. After being chopped and pitch shifted it became something a lot different than the original loop.

Hi and thanks, I have not tried it YET but I'm familiar with the original Famicom/NES version. I almost purchased Excitebike 64 a few months ago but ended up buying different games. With that said before sending this reply I ordered a copy from eBay, we will see if I can get in some decent runs when it arrives. Congrats on all of your videos 🏁

So far only Series 1. I have played Series 2 but haven't done any recordings yet. I think the later series have to be unlocked by progressing through the game (if I remember correctly) and I don't understand Japanese. Fantastic game though, the parts I have played.

@roosetheroader if i remember correctly, arcade series works separately from the main game, i think its 6 and i stopped at 4, this one being a sorta of remake of the first game in terms of route design. It gets really hard. Good luck!

I have a 3D controller and after a few minutes of using it I always switch back to original. The standard MK-80100 pad was used.

I have owned F1 Challenge about 9 months and these 3 runs were my first attempts so overall I appreciate the results. Now I am curious how you approached the different sections of the tracks and will search for the videos. As for F1 Challenge it was fun and left a positive impression. After practicing and getting familiar with the courses it came down to not touching the walls and being in the correct gear. Reminds me of Virtua Racing, those kinds of early racing games with limited modes, tracks, laps per race, and the tracks names include their difficulty. I noticed in the game manual it lists the tracks with a black and white screen shot but there is no description or details about them. As much as I love stock car racing It's fun to visit new racing experiences.
