sorry what size tube extension was that+2/+3 or more? Also does the Magpul forend you have come with picatinny rails attached as shown or is that an extra?

Also when I first installed it I actual had the after market follower inside at the time. Is it a possibility that the follower could get caught up at the end or is it made to always raise to the top without getting caught between the two nubs at the top? If so what could you recommend I do?

Hi the shell size I was using was the federal 2 3/4 birdshots, I actually have not fired it yet shes still a virgin, but when practicing cycling it before I installed the non MIM and upgraded carrier everything was fine and it easily cycled 7 with the cap installed, thank you for your timely response.

First just checking what size shell you are using. It could be the spring but if you were fitting 7 before and didn't change anything then it could be the install or the new parts. You don't really need the end cap. I actually took mine out. The problem with cutting the spring is you could cause feeding issues so you would need to be carefull if you cut it shorter. I would try reinstalling everything first make sure there's no issues there then you can try the spring.

Hi I just did my install today with the exact parts and shotgun you did on this video, great job with the tutorial by the way. I'm having a few problems getting in that 7th round in the mag tube, I followed all your instructions in your vid but some how that 7th won't go in. I am also running a Brownell stainless follower with my Remington and the Nordic spring does not sit inside since its about the same width as the follower unlike the stock Remington spring it sits inside perfectly is that an issue with the length of cut? also I noticed my follower does not extend all the way up the mag tube due to those 2 metal stubs that stick out close to the end cap I know this because I tried loading 7 with out the spring installed and it slides in easily if the follower is not caught in the 2 stubs do you think this is due to the fact that the spring maybe too long and would I have to just trim it down another inch or so till it compresses fully without the follower getting caught? also is it truly necessary to flatten the ends of the spring because I did a half ass job on it and to the best of my ability I have it semi-flat but it is sort of at an angle flat due to the pliers I had on hand, do you also have a recommendation on how to do a better job on flattening the spring, a video would be great if you have the time. lastly is it necessary to use the stock cap for when slapping on the end of the Nordic cap to seal in the spring or is that just preference? also the Nordic spring does not sit inside properly so what I did was just twist it in as far as it would let me and surprisingly it stayed on but I don't know how you got in there flushed maybe I did something wrong. I was thinking of cutting the spring down another inch to compensate for the follower since it is slightly longer than the stock plastic remington follower but the problem I still can't remedy is why the follower does not ride up the tube all the way and why it locks at the 2 stubs at the end of the mag tube, which when I first installed it was feeding 7 no problem I took it down again today to replace the MIM extractor with a non MIM extractor, carrier latch spring and side saddle install and upon reassembly I noticed that it was no longer accepting that 7th round. All was dandy yesterday until I broke the shotgun down completely to install those parts could that have been the issue or is it my follower and spring which I suspect? thanks for your time and I hope to hear from you soon since I have this shooting trip planned next week and hope to remedy the problem so I can go out and test fire this awesome shotgun. You asked for comments. You did not remove the dimples in the mag tube. Therefore, it will NOT work!

Overall, I think this video was well done. I am giving it a "thumbs-up". The only thing I think was done in error was putting the black plastic retainer on top of the end of the spring, and into the extension. That part is now unnecessary, and only blocks the magazine tub from possibly holding another short round.

I'm sure there is but I'm not sure off hand. Nordic makes great stuff but as you can see the plus one would be a little bit longer then the barrel without a choke.

I have the same model but with no choke, is there a extention I can buy so the barrels are flush?

I've had no luck locating that tube extension. Any help ?
