This was basically my first video game back when I was 3 my dad was playing it and I asked to sit with him and play it. When he was away at work I learned to read well enough to play it by myself. I was never any real good at it back then, and I’m still not the best at the games. I’ve since stopped playing 2 as much as I did back then but I’ll always see this soundtrack as a portal back to my early childhood.

To anyone looking for a similar game: Songs of Conquest launched just few weeks ago. While it doesn't have the same perfect music, the general feeling of older Heroes games is well preserved.

It was the best real-time strategy game ever. No other game has been made like the speed and gameplay of this game. Advantages such as gameplay, music and very fast installation of units made this game indispensable. I miss those days when I played. With love and respect from Türkiye 🏅

to this days i think heroes 4 was the worst till having very good music mostly nature one and grassland to this day keep listening and wonfering what heaven town singer about ? understand only single words like ahhh and ohhh he sound like singing in espianiol language to me or romanian

Everybody comments about memories that this soundtrack brings, but did anyone of you notice that this not entirely HoMM4 soundtrack? Tracks 2, 3 are from H5. Not sure about where did the 4th track come from. Same goes to "End Turn 2". I don't know how did this happen, but well, could be fixed...

This is the best game ever created. And she remains like that to this day. The second part was absolutely unsuccessful, a weak, clumsy parody of the original.

Мы с одноклассниками играли в основном в ролевые, стратегии, логические и приключения, а с нормальными гонками на SEGA как-то туговато было. Но вот Rock n’ Roll Racing и Road Rush 3 - это просто топчик!👍Следом, на мой взгляд, идут Micro Machines 3 и 3 Military, а есть ли еще что-то стоящее, я даже не знаю.

I used to run a PW called Calmwind... I had some nifty scripting in there such as tradeskills as well as a custom "soul weapon" system where you would select a weapon your character identifies with and it would create a soulbound weapon that as you use it it would track your stats and grow more powerful the more you used it and grew in level as well. A TON of great memories with this game and NWN2 as well. Might have to get the enhanced edition and/or NWN2 and do some creating again. :)
