Love the setup! I am very close to purchasing the same kayak. I had a hobie outback for many years but wanted something easier to stand on and rig with gear. How do you like your setup with the Xi3 and how long does your battery last? Just curious because I plan on doing the same setup with the Xi3 motor. I am aslo going to trailer it with a modified jet ski trailer and was curious how you have your bunks setup. Thanks for the great videos!

Do you keep your unlimited stored on the trailer when not in use? I’m looking into rigging my trailer with the PVC bunks and I’m curious if there is any issues you have noticed with the hulls channels always resting on the PVC?

Just watched this video. I had a great Walleye season this past November, I saw in related items you were using 2.8" that's a little small for walleye here. Me and my buddy were catching 24 a day all over 20 on 4" kietech swim baits. We put most back because we were fishing a tributary upstream with lower limits. Also had 3 really nice sauger one day 2 19" and 1 that was half inch off wv state record 22 1/2. All 4" 1/4 jig head really slow retrieve.

Lots oof good ideas. I got mine a year ago and haven't put any electronics in yet. Love the ideas around the gear box. I think that is now my go to idea for the fish finder. The holes you drilled for the wiring, I am very hesitant, but I like what you did.
@xXBBoutdoorsXx3 ай бұрын
The whole idea at the start was as few holes in the hull as possible. Now I'm more comfortable with it but just those two holes was a big step for me. Glad you liked the video!

What kind of fishing equipment you're using???
@arthurdirindinjr17924 ай бұрын
Just me but I have a kayak and I'd be very very leary of equipping it with over $1k in electronics unless I has first equipped it with outriggers that reduced the possibility I could capsize it by 99.9% I have a Garmin Striker Vivid 9sv and will not put it on my kayak until I equip my kayak with outriggers

@@xXBBoutdoorsXx can you explain that alittle more. I’m a newbie. Does that just mean the water drains out right away so it doesn’t affect the plugs? I see a lot of people not running scupper plugs and still going with marinco.
@xXBBoutdoorsXx4 ай бұрын
@@ryanharrod1155 my mistake. I thought you meant scupper plugs but I see now you meant for the motor. As for the nucanoe plugs they're fine so far. I just bought the same Kayak but my entire hull is jet black. I am getting the motor guide added to the front and night lights like you show here. I like the idea of the pole in the back. It would be noce to not have spot lock running in a shallow area. I am going to look at those power poles for sure.
@xXBBoutdoorsXx11 ай бұрын
They're great. Especially for rivers. When you're in current and need to stop quickly it's a lot easier to drop the pole than to spot lock especially if it's shallow.
